Next day, Steve was driving Chris to school. She didn't feel like biking today so she asked Steve if he could drive her to school to which he replied with "What happened to your knee" after he spotted the bandage Chris put on the night prior. Chris just said that she fell and didn't say anything about the girl again.

Now she is sitting in the back seat of Steve's car and Nancy is in the passenger seat. Steve picked her up to drive her as well on the way to the middle school. They parked in the school parking lot and they were about to get out of the car, as Steve asked Nancy if she could read his essay that he had to turn in soon, because and i quote 'she's the smartest person he knows and he'll  fail without her' so now everyone is still sitting in the car, waiting for Nancy's judgement.

After good 2 minutes of silence, Steve spoke up. "It's crap, I know" He said, looking out of the window. "No, it's not crap" Nancy tried reassuring her boyfriend. "It's not good" "It's going to be. Just... It needs some, reorganizing. Can I mark on it?" Nancy asked. "Yes yes"

"Uhhh sorry to interrupt but" Chris spoke up "Am i still needed here or can i go, cause the guys are waiting" she said, gripping on her backpack. Steve looked at her and nodded "Yeah, you can go. Have a great day at school" he said as he watched Chris getting out of the car. "I'll try to! Bye!" Chris said and closed the car door.

She started walking towards the school doors, when she heard an engine revving behind her. She looked back to see a blue camaro racing towards her. She quickly jumped out of the way and the car barely missed her. "Asshole!" She yelled at the driver and turned around shaking her head in disbelief of the stupidity of humanity.

Almost at the doors, she saw the redheaded beauty from yesterday, racing past her on a skateboard. Chris looked after her as she disappeared in the crowd. She got this bubbly feeling again from yesterday, as she watched her turn into another hallway. Chris quickly got out of that paralysation and wanted to move forward but got pushed to the side.

Troy. "Hello freak" he said as he stared down at the girl. "Troy what do you want?" Chris stood up and wiped of any dust or dirt of her flannel from yesterday. Troy grabbed her by her collar and pressed her against the wall. "Careful! That's a very good flannel" the girl said worried about her clothing. She really liked that flannel. Troy punched her in the face, making her head hit the wall. "Tell me, how. you. did. it" He hissed at her. "How i did what?" Chris asked, acting clueless. "How you teleported yourself! How you lit your hands on fire"

Ah that. Yeah Chris has been over this for a whole year. Troy is still trying to figure out how she did that a year ago, but she can't really tell him that she has superpowers so she just denies everything "Troy, we've been over this a million times, I didn't do anything." Chris lied. "Yes you did, and you know it damn well! You dyke!" He said and punched her again.

'This dude, I swear'

People started to gather around us, watching what was going to happen. Student by student, the half circle surrounding us became thicker and thicker. Chris stared Troy dead in the eye, anger starting to build up inside of her. "What, you've got nothing to say lesbo?" Troy spat at her. The girl balled her fists and took a deep breath. "Call me that again and i'll punch you so hard in the face, your teeth will fall out." She said as calmly as possible. "What, you're gonna punch me? Come on, do it then. Do it, dy-" Troy couldn't even finish the sentence as Chris right hooked him in his face. He fell backwards and the crowd "oooed".

"What did I just say?" Chris asked the boy on the ground. She picked up her backpack and made her way to her science class. If she didn't hurry she would be late, so she slightly jogged to the classroom and made her way to her seat behind Dustin.

The boys were already there. "Where have you been? Class starts in 2 minutes." Dustin asked the girl. "Troy" she just said and got out her collegeblock, science book and her pen. "Ohhh, the same as usual?" Dustin asked "Yep, he still doesn't get it."
