After school, Chris went to the arcade. She had a few quarters left from yesterday, so she decided she's going to spent them all on those gaming machines.

And also she had slight hope to find Max there, but that wasn't the main reason of course.

She just got dropped off by Steve and made her way towards the building with the giant "Arcade" sign on it. She was walking towards the door, when she saw something in the reflection of the window. She turned around to see what it was, when she spotted two very familiar boys, hiding behind a car with binoculars in their hands.

'are those dustin and lucas?'

She shook her head and made her way towards them. The boys didn't seem to notice her though and continued stalking whoever they were trying to stalk. She started to sneak up behind them. "Oh! Damn it. My mom's gonna murder me." Dustin said, looking at his watch. "So then go hom-AAAAAAAAAAAh!" lucas tried to advice but Chris scared the shit out of him, just by placing her hand on the boys shoulders.

"What are you guys doing here and what's up with the binoculars? Are you stalking someone?" Chris asked, a disappointed glint in her eyes. The boys just looked at her and then looked back at the binoculars. Chris threw her hands in the air. The silence told her everything. "Are you serious guys? I swear, if this is about Max-" "But we wanna know if she's madmax!".

Chris looked at Lucas with an are-you-serious-look. "She is. I literally told you guys that at school.". Lucas looked at his binoculars, "Well-" "Why can't you guys just leave her alone? You like her or something?" Chris asked.

She didn't know why but it somehow hurt to ask that. She decided to deal with that thought later and concentrate on trying to talk the boys out of stalking on her new friend. Chris thought that if she would let them, Max wouldn't want to talk to her anymore because she's friends with the stalking weirdos.

'Oh my god, what if she thinks i am a weirdo?'

She really wanted to make a good impression. "But she might be lying and i wanna find it out before my mom will murder me for coming home late." Dustin said "So go home. I'll radio if she comes" Lucas said, turning to dustin.

"Oh yeah, nice try. You just want me out of here so you can make your move." "Oh cause you're such a threat" the boys started arguing.

'did they just ignore my question?'

"That's right. She will not be able to resist these pearls." Dustin argued back, doing his growl thingy. Lucas and Chris just shook their heads and Dustin looked back onto the road. "10 o'clock" he said. "What?" "10 o'clock!". Everyone turned their heads into the direction he meant and spotted a familiar blue Camaro.

Max.

"Well, i am going to the arcade now and I advise you to go home. Please don't stalk her, she just moved here. She has enough with all the moving and shit. Okay?" Chris said and turned on her heal. She started walking towards the arcade. As she closed the door, she found Max already standing at the Dig Dug machine, concentrating on the game. Chris smiled at her sight and went up to her. "Didn't think I'd see you again so soon, Red". Max whipped her head towards the girl causing her to not pay attention to the game and loose.

"Oh shit, I am so sorry" Chris quickly said when she saw the "You died" screen. "It's fine. It's not like I lost my top score" the pretty redhead said turning away from the game completely, facing Chris. "What are you doing here?" Max asked. "Just wanted to kill some time, maybe get something cool like a pacman plush, i don't know." Chris admitted. Max smiled, showing off her white glistening teeth. "There is no way you could get a pacman plush from the claw machine, those things are rigged." the girl cackled, pointing at the glowing box, standing against the wall.
