This was one of the most comfortable nights that Chris has ever had. She woke up to the warmth of the redhead, who was still holding onto her. But now, that warmth was gone, the grey sky above the girls showing that a storm was brewing. The trio was walking towards the Mayfield residence after El explained what she saw in the void the night before.

Max kept brushing it off as nothing, thinking Billy just had a girl over once again. But El seemed concerned, insisting that they go to check it out, just to be sure. Chris didn't tell them about what happened in the void to the others, thinking she already put enough weight on Max the night before with their little late night chat.

The girl with glasses walked on the right of Max, kicking a pebble as they were walking. "It's gonna start pouring soon" Max said in hopes of changing El's mind, "We should be at the mall or, like, watching a movie or something.". Chris' gaze shot up from the ground. "Ooh! I heard they already released 'Back to the Future'." the girl said in, excitement showing in her voice. She wanted to watch the movie as soon as she saw the trailer.

"Yeah, we could go watch it!". El turned to look at the both of them. "You don't believe me?" she asked. "I believe you saw some super weird stuff, totally" Max started, "and there was this weird thing with Chris, but you said Mike has sensed you in there before, right?". The girl with the bob cut nodded, keeping her gaze on the floor. Chris tensed up slightly at the mention of the night before. She clenched her jaw slightly and just kept kicking the pebble.

'It's fine, it was nothing, don't worry about it, it was nothing, it's fine, you're fine'

"So maybe it was just like that. Maybe Billy just sensed you somehow." the mayfield teen continued to justify the vision. The harrington teen started fiddling with the hammer holder on the side of her jeans, leaving the pebble she'd been kicking behind. She had to admit, the whole situation was weird. It wasn't anything that she could point out, but rather it felt weird.

"But the screams" "Yeah, I know but here's the thing." The redhead though about how to explain it in the most innocent way possible, "When Billy is alone with a girl, they make, like, really crazy noises.". A sight escaped Chris' lips as she muttered "Oh my fucking god, shoot me now please." She did not want to be the person to explain to El what sex is.

Max elbowed her lightly, causing Chris to look at her. Both exchanged looks, a silent conversation going on between them in which the celebrity made it clear she was keeping her mouth shut. The hopper teen scrunched her nose, her eyebrows knitted together. "They scream?" she asked.

Chris had to concentrate her entire body to not give out the chuckle that by now has build up in ger throat. "Yeah, but, like.." Max was trying to find a way to explain it and keep it pg, "happy screams." she managed. A quiet snort left the brunette with glasses mouth, earning her yet another elbow to the side.

"Ow, jeez, okay. But that one was fair." Chris chuckled to which Max just shook her head in disbelief.

'happy screams? really?'

"Happy screams? What is happy screams?" El asked frustrated. Everything was just getting more and more complicated for her. Chris grinned at the redhead, and shrugged, kind of saying "you started the fire, you finish it.".

"It's like...", after a while of not coming up with anything she just gave up and said "I'm just gonna lend you my mom's cosmo."

They made it to the mayfield teen's house. The lights were out, as it was semi creepily standing a top a small hill. "His car is not here." Chris pointed out as she noticed the empty spot where the blue camaro would usually be. "You really wanna do this?" Max asked the Hopper teen once again, still thinking it was unnecessary.
