The speedsters were sitting in front of the computers, rewatching their encounter with the monster from the night before. Ethan hums quietly, quickly typing on the keyboard as he is trying to change the elements the satellites should be tracking. Y/N glances at the screens before a sudden breeze blows past the two causing them to look in front of them.

"You guys know there's a thing called, taking breaks, right?" Barry jokes, holding out a tray with two coffees from Jitters.

Ethan rolls his eyes playfully, taking his coffee and takes a sip as his wife grabs her own and smiles slightly, "We're going to, but right after we see if we can catch that thing that attacked us on this."

Ethan presses a key on the keyboard, pulling up a graph on the screens as they all look at it. Barry stares at it and nods, "You guys reprogrammed the satellites."

"Yup, it's a spectrograph from where the attack happened." Ethan explains, leaning back in his seat, "It's a rare geothermic isotope― so when we get a hit-"

"We'll know where it's hiding." Barry caught on and the siblings hum in response. The brunette looks at them with a small smile, "Good job."

"Thanks." Y/N sighs softly, sipping her coffee, then stares back at the screens with Ethan.

Barry sighs softly, setting his own coffee down and looks at them, "Look, you two have been on this since the morning. And, Y/N, I was actually being serious about taking that break a few minutes ago."

"I know, I know, okay?" Y/N exhales, standing up from her seat and walks over to stand beside him, placing a hand on his back, "But I can't rest knowing that thing, or creature is still out there."

"Besides, the longer we hold this off, who knows who else that thing could hurt." Ethan leans his elbows on the table, setting his chin on his palms, "We still have Ralph overseas with Sue, and Frost is still in recovering-"

"Oh, I'd say she's more than just recovering." Cisco spoke, entering the cortex, catching their attention as they looked his way, noticing Caitlin slowly trailing behind him. "Check out this frosty twist."

Once Caitlin was inside, they waited for what Cisco was talking about and then caught sight of Frost starting to enter, on her own, separated by Caitlin. Y/N goes wide-eyed, her lips parted in shock, quick to place a hand on her forehead. Ethan jumps back in his seat, quick to stand from his seat as he stares at Frost, then at Caitlin as he blinks rapidly and looks around the cortex. Barry stares between the two not sure if it was actually real, his eyes growing wide.

"I think I really do need that sleep, those meds are just starting to kick in." Ethan mutters, placing his hands on his hips.

"Yeah? I think I need double what I got because my eyes are messed up." Y/N shakes her head, "How is this happening?"

"So? We're all seeing this right?" Barry glances at them, still unsure that it was real, "I'm not going crazy."

"Nope." Y/N and Ethan answered in unison.

"I know this is a lot to take in." Caitlin looks at them, chuckling softly.

Frost turns to Cisco with a smug expression, holding her hand out, "Told you they'd freak."

Cisco rolls his eyes, handing her a twenty dollar bill since he seemed to lose a bet that the two made. Frost snatches it and stares at her bill proudly, Caitlin looks back at her friends with an innocent smile as they were still in shock.

"Guess who's on vacation early, fuckers!" Jason's voice echoed the halls, starting to enter the cortex with a wide smile, holding out a paper.

Ethan facepalmed, shaking his head, "Kids these days."
