"Here, drink this," Jason hands Y/N a mug which she took, muttering a thanks before taking a quick sip. The brunette hums, taking a seat beside her on the ombre couch Sue left the Loft saying if she can find anything with Iris, the two will call her immediately.

Jason takes a deep breath, frowning, "Y/N, I'm so sorry, I should have answered your calls and told you what happened the second Barry disappeared. You trusted me to look out for him, and―"

The speedster sets the mug to the side, cutting him off, "Jason, it's okay. Barry helps anyone he can, even if it is dangerous, he believes it is the right thing. I'm not mad at you."

"I promise you, we will find Barry," Jason states in determination, grabbing her hands, "He's coming back home."

Y/N nods at his words, holding hope that it will come true and she will see him again. Just then, a notification rings on both their phones── Jason reaches for his device, the two looking at the screen.

"Someone's in the Lounge,"

The speedster contemplates what to do but the brunette stares at her, "Go. I'll call you this time if something happens."

Y/N hesitates for a second but reaches for her ring before speeding out of the Loft── A purple streak approaches the facility as a flash of silver lightning runs ahead of her. The Electric Flash entered the lounge, screams of fear filling her ears as she stopped in tracks beside Lightning Storm. Her eyes grew wide to notice the fire meta holding on to Caitlin, putting her into flames, she snapped out of her state, glaring at the monster in front of the dark blonde.

The speedsters are quick to launch a lightning bolt in his direction making it release Caitlin but they countered back, sending a blast in their direction causing them to be thrown across the room. Ethan crashed into the screen, destroying it then fell to the ground with a grunt leaving his lips── Y/N hit her head against the wall, the wind being knocked out of her, the second she fell to the ground she held her head in pain, whining slightly.

"It's still not enough," He says, staring at Caitlin, "But I'll be back, and this life of yours will end."

Allegra and Frost entered the lounge, noticing the speedsters and Caitlin on the ground, and the meta hovering over the dark blonde. Frost looks at her in concern, "Caity?"

It growls before flying out of Star Labs── Ethan groans softly, turning on his side to check on his sister, "You okay?"

Y/N coughs, pushing herself up to her feet, and rubbing her head, "Yeah, you?"

The brunette nods in response, standing from his spot as they look over in Caitlin's direction. Frost rushes to her side and Allegra asks, "What the hell was that thing?"

"I don't know," Ethan and Y/N approach the group, the brunette staring at the window, "But whatever it was, our lightning did no damage."

Caitlin wheezes, still lying on the ground and Frost asks in worry, "What's wrong with her?"

The speedsters rushed Caitlin to Med Bay where she ended up stabilizing, the heroes changed out of their suits and stood by her bedside. Y/N fixing the chain around the neck, hiding the ring from anyone's view.

"How do you feel?" Ethan asked, fixing his watch.

"Lucky to be alive, so...fine, I guess," Caitlin replies, still in shock.

"Hold on, it burned her, but she looks okay and there aren't any marks or anything," Allegra says, checking over the dark blonde.

"Let's just call it a win," Frost exhales softly.
