The alarms blared in Star Labs, alerting the heroes as they were quick to speed out of the laboratory, getting in their suits on their way and running through the streets of Central City.

"What do we got, Chester?" Ethan asked, running through traffic, whistling lowly.

"Multiple fire alarms at Ivo Labs," Chester informs the two. "You know, hopefully, it's not an overcooked chicken tender in the microwave situation."

Ethan snorts and then looks to the side once he feels his sister run beside him, throwing her back with a small groan. "Guilt-tripping, at this time, really? How many more times do I have to apologize?"

"Roger that, yeah, yeah," Chester mutters, "It's just, you know, dude, that smell took us forever to get out of the lounge―"

The speedsters run inside Ivo Labs, where the supposed fire is happening, but stop in their tracks at the burning laboratory, yet no orange flames are in sight. Confused expressions appear on their features, and Ethan quickly cuts the male off, "Hold on, wait, wait."

"Chester, there are no fires here," Y/N speaks through her comms with furrowed brows, glancing around the scorch marks.

"Electric Flash, Lightning Storm, you two are back!" A scientist spoke up, gaining their attention as they turned around to face the group that was hidden behind their desk. The heroes look at one another before facing the man who stands in front of them.

"No, uh, we just got here," Lightning Storm tells him.

"No, you two didn't," He says positively, motioning in front of them. "You guys sped us out of the way, and then put out the fire with a wind funnel, like what you two did with the Hotness."

"We did?" The Electric Flash arched a brow.

"If it wasn't for your speed, seven years of research would have gone up in smoke, literally," He shakes their hands in gratitude.

The brunette glanced at his sister, who gave him a look, shrugging merely, and the two-faced him with small smiles. Lightning Storm nodded, chuckling awkwardly, "No problem."

The scientist smiles brightly, starting to walk away from them as they look over at where the fire once was── scanning the area thoughtfully. Chester questioned them, "Wait, guys, what's― what's going on? What are they talking about?"

"We don't know," Y/N mutters, crossing her arms with a small huff. "But something tells us there's probably two new speedsters in town."

Ethan glances at her, shaking his head, "That's not good."

Y/N hums in agreement, looking at him with raised brows.

"Two new speedsters? You guys sure?" Joe asked the siblings. The heroes sitting on the couch as they were in the West house, filling him in.

"Yeah, I mean those Ivo employees told us two people ran in, saving them," Ethan tells him, leaning back in his spot, crossing his arms. "Then used wind funnels to put the fire out― something we know how to do."

"That sure sounds like speedsters," Joe grabbed a sippy cup and packed snacks, walking over to where they were to grab a book bag. "You guys have any leads on who they could be?"

Ethan shakes his head and Y/N sighs softly, resting her hands on her lap, "No. We know that August Heart is still in custody at Iron Heights― Thawne doesn't have any speed in his body."
