The group continues to stare at Alice the Speed Force with horrified expressions after the events that occurred seconds ago. Barry stands up from his spot, glaring at her, "Alexa's dead. You killed her."

"No― me and Y/N did it together." Alice the Speed Force replies, looking at her, "It was the only way. She was the strongest― I needed every ounce of power including your strength, to kill her."

Y/N scoffs, shaking her head as she shouts, "I'm supposed to save lives, not take them away!"

"I'm helping you clean up your mess, Y/N. This is your fault, all of yours." Alice the Speed Force snaps, looking between the group, "The night you brought me back, you created those monsters. You two, Ethan and Iris."

The three shared looks, pure confusion taking upon their features as Alice the Speed Force adds, "When you two regained your speed, I and Melissa weren't the only thing you guys willed into existence."

Melissa glances at the ground as Barry mutters, "That's not possible."

"Really? Alexa was afraid to come here, but she trusted you― why?" Alice the Speed Force glances at the girl, who starts thinking in deep thought, "Because deep down she could feel a connection with you. The same connection you feel with me now― the same one Ethan feels with Melissa."

"But, these new Forces? The way they've merged with the people they chose as avatars? It's corrupted them because it's unnatural." The Speed Force walks towards the girl, "But once the other two are gone-"

Ethan stands behind the girl as Y/N stares at the woman, her eyes glazing as she shook her head, "I'm not going to help you kill anyone again."

"Oh― my beautiful troublemaker, you have no choice." Alice the Speed Force tells her, smiling ever so slightly as she grabs her face and they look at one another, "Because if you don't help me, those things will kill everyone you promised to keep safe. Is that what you really want?"

Y/N stays silent, thinking over her words, looking away from her as the woman lets her go, "Then, please, Y/N help me."

The speedster exhales softly, looking back at her in tears, stepping back, "No."

"You have to help me, damn it!" Alice the Speed Force shouts, lightning coursing through her body.

Ethan grabs Y/N's shoulders, pulling her back as the girl stares at the woman with a hint of sadness. Melissa steps in front of the girl, glaring at the woman, "Alice, stop! Leave her alone."

Alice the Speed Force stops her actions, "I will destroy the other Forces, Y/N, with or without your help. Then you'll see that I'm right."

The woman quickly disappears from the speed lab as everyone looks at one another in concern── Y/N still trying to process what happened, glancing back at the dead girl. Barry walks over to her, blocking her view as he pulls her in for a hug. Ethan looks over at Melissa, who sighed deeply, a frown on her lips.

The group takes Alexa's body to the med bay and Melissa decides to stay with her, believing it was for the best. The rest of the team arrived, meeting up in the cortex as Y/N was leaning against the railing, facing away from the group with her hands inside her sweater pocket.

"What a day." Caitlin scoffs, "First, Frost is sent to Iron Heights for life, and now Alexa's dead."

"This can't happen again." Barry shakes his head, digging his hands inside his jeans pockets.
