Meena Dhawn's Voice-Over: "To understand what I'm about to tell you, there is something you need to remember. In every atom, there is a perfect balance of protons and electrons. But it's those negative particles that let an atom grow."

In a quiet forest out of the city, a streak of white and black lightning is spotted speeding through the woods── coursing around, avoiding the trees to continue her run.

"My name is Dr. Meena Dhawan, and for the next three minutes and 52 seconds, I'm the second fastest woman alive."

The new trainee jumps high before landing on her knees, her palm colliding with the dirt as her lightning crackled around her. Meena stands from her position, speaking through her comms excitedly, "Oh, my gosh! Did you two see that?"

"I just hit 300 meters per second," Meena mentions proudly.

"Yeah," Ethan chuckles softly. "That was your best time yet. Now let's see if you can catch up with us."

The woman watched the two streaks of silver and purple lightning run past her, but she was quick to trail behind them── the speedsters running through the woods with small smiles. Meena Dhawn was far behind the heroes, but in sight of where she could still spot them, the woman encouraged herself to keep going to catch up with the two. However, her lightning coursed through her eyes as she started slowing down, and by not paying attention, Meena tripped over a branch but held one of her arms out, accidentally sending a lightning bolt in their direction.

The lightning bolt hitting the Electric Flash on the back caused her to get sent back with a yelp of surprise── Lightning Storm was quick to speed over, catching her in time. Y/N glanced at him with a small smile, "Thanks for the save."

"You got it," Ethan winks, gently setting her down on the ground.

Meena speeds toward them, catching their attention as they smile her way. The woman is quick to remove her face coverage, her eyes on the heroine and speaking apologetically, "I'm so sorry. What just happened?"

"It's fine, don't worry," Y/N assures with a nod. "And you created your own lightning bolt again. Impressive, actually."

"That took us a while to learn when we just started, so," Ethan tells her, crossing his arms.

"I― I didn't mean to do it, I was just frustrated I couldn't catch up, and then it just happened," Meena rants in a huff.

The siblings smiled at her, but the sense of something coursing through the speedster's body gained her attention. The heroine looks at her arm noticing her lightning crackle around, mixing along with Meena's artificial lightning── the woman and the brunette staring at it carefully.

"You know, I haven't seen any type of artificial lightning interact with organic speed like this," Y/N mentions, looking back at the woman as it sizzles out before going out quickly.

"Okay. That's disturbing," Meena admits cautiously.

"Don't be, we'll figure it out," Ethan tries to calm her, and his sister nods in agreement. The brunette inhales quietly, rubbing his hands, "So, how about now we go over your biometrics, and make sure everything else is normal in the parameters."

"Yeah," Meena agreed, but the sound of her watch beeping caught her attention, she glanced at it noticing she didn't have enough power to continue with training. She looks back at the heroes, shaking her head in disappointment, "I― I can't, I have to head back to the lab. My speed is running out."
