Chapter 2

Nevaeh Pov

My eyes finally opened, and I saw my father standing in front of me, and I realized what had just happened to me and my brothers, and I became anxious. "Dad, are Lo'ak and Neteyam okay?" I asked, chuckling and smiling at her, her brothers being the first thing that came to mind. "There okay," Jake said, and I smiled back at him. Dad helped me get up and we all went home.

When we arrived, the sounds of horns herded them through the Omatikaya's stronghold. Many Na'vi looked up in delight as they saw the war party return. Tuktirey, the family's youngest member, dashed through the crowds to inform her sister Kiri and spider that they had returned. "The war party is returning!" "Come on, come on," Tuk shouted back.

Our father was the first one to land out of all of us. " Fall in '' my dad Command his ikran. as we all came our father was disappointed in us "You're supposed to be spotters FROM A DISTANCE," our father yelled, and Lo'ak's ears dropped as he realized it was all his fault. " Jesus.. I let you three fly a mission, and you disobey direct orders," he said. Kiri noticed all three of us and wanted to see us. She had a worried expression on her face as she looked at my back because of how bad it was. "Kiri, could you please go help your grandmother with the wounded?" Dad explained. "My sister is hurt," Kiri responded. Tuk was looking at my back, seeing how badly I was hurt "just go Please tuk go with her. Tuk made an irritating face, and she and Kiri left. "I expect more from you two," he said to me and Neteyam. "I'm sorry, dad, this is all my fault," I said, looking to the ground trying not to break down in tears. "Yeah, you're right, it's your fault, you're the older sister, you have to act like it , you do realize your brothers could of died" he said angrily.  Neyetam gave me a sad look because he knew how I felt. I and him are always to blame for Lo'ak. I lowered my ear, my heart breaking, i look over my brothers and I couldn't bear the thought of my brothers dying,  I'd do anything to protect them. but I also knew that if I didn't take the blame, dad would know it was lo'ak because he knows him and I are quite troublemakers. Lo'ak looks at her, realizing she is took the blame for him he feels bad for her because he knows how their dad is. "thank you" he whispered. I look at youngest brother and smiles at him When our mother Neytiri sees how badly I've been hurt, she touches my back and says "MaJake, our daughter is actually bleeding," " No mother, I'm fine." Dad looks at me and realizes he was pretty harsh on me. "Go get patched up," Jake says, realizing she was badly hurt. Go on, you're dismissed, he says as he walks away.

I yelled in pain every time my grandmother Mo'at touched my wounds. It feels as if blaze is reaching you. Lo'ak and Sipder are just making fun of me. Neteyam, my brother, is attempting to talk with me, so I will remain calm. Kiri, my sister, is assisting and helping my grandmother.

Jake Pov:

I noticed Neytiri approaching me as I fiddled with the gun on my lap. "What is it?" I asked quietly. "Lo'ak, Neteyam, and Nevaeh are trying to live up to you,"she says softly. "I know," I said firmly and calmly. "You are very hard on them," she remarks. "I'm their father, that's my job. "This is not a squad, this is a family," Neytiri says as she moves closer to me. As I looked at her, my eyes softened. She's right, I just wanted to keep them safe because I couldn't bear losing any of them... "I thought we lost them," I said, my voice saddening, and my voice cracking. Neytiri now comes closer to me and hugs me, realizing why I was so harsh on them.
