Bridge Battle | Ruination

Ruin begins walking towards Jack after the blow. His blades on ropes in his hands, ready to swing in a moment's notice. He swings one straight towards Jack, who summons his shield, blocking it. Jack turns and looks at Ethan behind him, and as does, Ruin throws his second one, which wraps around his arm. Ruin then slings him to his right, no letting go afterwards. "Dammit!" Jack says to himself. "I need to grab Ethan and get out of here! But how will I?" He says. Panic is on the bridge, and people flee.

"I'm not letting you escape..." Ruin says. He then pulls Jack towards him, and punches him. Letting go, Jack flies into the bottom of the bus, causing a large smash. "You have already caused enough trouble for your sin. As such, you are not permitted to live." Ruin says as he walks towards Jack.

"Come on..." Jack says to himself as he lifts himself from the indent left by his impact in the bottom of the bus. "Think of something..." Jack says, "I've got it! Ethan!" Jack yells as he runs away from the bus. "Get away from the bus!"

"Okay!" Ethan says as he runs away from it.

"Come on you sorry bastard!" Jack yells to Ruin. Ruin throws his blade again, which Jack was wanting. He dodges to the side, and as it zooms past, Jack grabs the rope.

"Huh?" Ruin says, not expecting that. Jack then tugs with all of his might, and slams Ruin into the front of the bus with his own rope. Jack lets go after, and throws his sword in the air, transforming it into his bow, which he catches. He draws it back, and an explosive arrow appears. Firing, the arrow hits the bus, exploding and causing the bus to explode as well. This creates a massive explosion that his arrows by themselves are incapable of doing. The explosion causes pieces of the bridge to crumble.

"Whoa..." Ethan says as he watches this transpire. He had no clue that Jack was capable of such destruction. Jack and Ethan both watch the flames of the exploded bus, praying to god that it finished Ruin.

"Please..." Jack says, "Please work." It feels like an eternity as Jack watches with bated breath, though it only lasts a moment. And suddenly, from the flames and smoke, Ruin walks out. He is beaten, scuffed and with a bleeding nose. But he is alive and able.

"That was a nice attempt." Ruin says. His hood is gone, and he has black hair tied in the back, light skin, and piercing purple eyes. "But not enough..." As he walks through the smoke, Ethan in front of him, he looks at Jack behind him.

"W-Who are you?! What are you?!" Jack yells at him. Ruin turns to him.

"My name is unimportant. But just know this; I am your Ruin." Ruin says, facing towards Jack. He then charges at Jack, and Jack fires an arrow, which he dodges. Making it to him, Ruin knees him in the gut, knocking him back several feet. Though Jack stays standing. He then throws his blade at Jack, though Jack blocks with his shield. Barely blocking, the blade retracts back to Ruin.

"I need to find a way out of here with Ethan..." Jack says to himself. "Dammit... Should've run when the explosion happened..." Ruin throws his blade at Jack again, and Jack dodges to try reaching for it again. Though Ruin learned from last time. Ruin throws the second one as Jack reaches for the first, and it wraps around his leg. Ruin pulls Jack back and he can't get the first one. "No!" Jack scrapes across the pavement of the bridge, and Ruin then pulls him in. He hits Jack in the jaw, knocking him into the air. Grabbing Jack by his foot, he slams him into the ground. "Kuh!"

"How was that?" Ruin asks. He overtops Jack and grabs his neck. He then pulls him up by it, holding him in the air. Holding his blade in his hand, Ruin prepares to stab Jack.

"Hey!" Ethan yells, "What has he done to you?!"

"What has he done to me? Nothing. I am just pursuing justice." Ruin says as he looks at Ethan.
