At this point I should just meet up with the master another day, I suppose I should find somewhere to rest untill the sun rises again.

I began walking over hills and past fields, the sky was the same color of all the dead flowers now and I still haven't even come across a village of any type yet, I decided to walk over to the nearest tree and sit down on its roots and below it's branches, this is the closest thing to a bed that I can find for the time being.

My eyelids began to fall over my eyes and eventually I was asleep to the sound of crickets and the sound of small birds calling out to another.

... The next day 🤩👍...

I woke up to someone standing above me, blinking a couple times I tried to adjust my eyes to the sunlight and focus on figuring out who it was that was above me, "....Sanemi? " I said as my sight adjusted and I was staring at someone with white spiky hair and a light shade of purple eyes, "hi tomioka. " Said the man above me. So it is Sanemi then...

"Why are you sleeping here? " he asked still staring at me, "the reason doesn't matter, anyway, I have to go meet with the master so I'll be on my way now" I replied, "the master called for me too so I'll just go with you because you clearly have no sense of direction what so ever" Sanemi said rudely.

I stared at him for a couple seconds with confusion before replying ok and I stood up, we started walking to the masters estate in silence, I had no idea how far away we were from the estate or how long it was gonna take so I just kinda followed sanemi for what seemed like five hours straight.

"Alright we are here" sanemi said as we approacched the masters estate, we walked towards the master who had his back facing us, "good morning master" sanemi said and we crouched down bowing, "ah hello my children, I see you are a bit late... " the master said turning around to face us.

Shit how am I going to get out of this one, "I found tomioka sleeping so I brought him here, sorry for the wait" Sanemi said, shit he saved me from saying a lame excuse, I should thank him for that later, or maybe not? I'll figure it out.

"Alright then, now to what I was going to tell you two" the master began to talk, "I want the two of you to defeat a lower moon demon that was said to be in the takashi district, while your there there is a friend of mine who will be taking you in and you will be spending a couple nights at their house. " master said, me and Sanemi both looked at each other with the same expression, "why do I have to work with him of all people" sanemi asked the master, "because I think it would help you guys get along more" the master responded to sanemi. "Anyway, here is the address to the place you will be staying" the master said handing us a piece of paper with the address written down.

"Other than that, you are dismissed, now have fun my children" the master said with a slight smile on his face, and with that me and Sanemi stood up and left the estate.
