After the two hashiras had ohagi and Sanemi has become Giyuus husba- I mean "temporary 𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱"(lmao friend zoned), they now stood outside the village's entrance, next to a tall pillar like figure, the two of them were now looking for clues or hints to help in their search for the demons.

The hashiras looked at each other for a second as if they were talking through silence, and as giyuu nodded they both took off going separate ways, Sanemi took the left side of the village jumping onto small houses as he ran and scouted the area, and Giyuu took the right side of the village, going at a slower pace to make sure he wouldn't miss anything that could be noteworthy.

Stopping in his tracks, the white headed no eyebrowed man stood atop a rooftop looking in a certain direction as if something had caught his eye, and as he expected something did, in the distance there was a small frail looking boy sitting against a tree. Sanemi thought for a second wondering if he should question the young male or continue on with his search, which, sanemi who saw this as a opportunity to hopefully get some answers jumped from the rooftop he once before stood on and began to make his way towards the boy.

Meanwhile the raven haired boy had gotten lost and ended up at a small shop seeing some snacks that he thought Sanemi would like so he bought some for his newly made friend, after all Giyuu wanted to make sure to spoil sanemi so that sanemi wouldnt leave and think about stopping their friendship .

(Only difference between this friendship and sabito and Giyuus friendship is that sabito didn't have a choice but to leave)

"Hey kid, what's up with you? " Sanemi asked staring down upon the child, "I- i watched my sister die last night. " this news surprised Sanemi leaving confusion, "how did she die? " "I don't know how to describe it, there was some strange looking monster with red blades? Or was it yellow.. " the boy said trying to remember the previous events, "shit. And where was this? " sanemi asked desperate for a answer, "it was at the tree me and my sister loved, the biggest one in this village", Sanemi nodded now understanding everything, he couldn't help but blame himself for ones death because it was his fault that he was with giyuu last night instead of keeping watch. " hey mister no eyebrows, you believe me.. Right? " "yea sure, now go run off I'll deal with that " monster" who killed your sister" and with that sentence, the child ran off leaving Sanemi standing alone by the tree.
