Missy sits in the corner of the room holding Trunk's phone. She rocks back and forward, looking at the only exit to the room, hoping the two men would run through it and save her. It's been half an hour since she called Sin, so in this sense, Trunk was already dead. Missy tried her best to put pressure on the wound, but in the end, she couldn't save Trunk from bleeding out.

She tries telling herself she wasn't scared—scared of dying. Instead, she's scare of getting caught. If the police show up, and she knows they will, they'll question her, make her the prime suspect. How was she going to explain all of this? Missy didn't know herself what was going on. Trunk didn't really tell her anything and Sin and Felix were trying to figure something out, probably to clear her name.

The slight pain begin to spread across her temple, making her wince. She brings her hand up to her head, lowering her gaze, so she can cover her eyes. Of course her headache begins to flare up again. The spreading pain makes her tremble, the pounding sensation always seems to happen when she overthinks.

The problem didn't show up until after Jefferson died and she spiraled out of control. The planning of the funeral, Jefferson's eldest children, and his death just broke her entirely. Missy wasn't ready to let him go. So now she suffers from headaches. Perhaps she is overthinking too much, or maybe she just has too much on her mind.

"Shit," she mumbles before clutching her head. "Not now."

Missy's breathing begins to pick up, and her vision slowly blurs. She could feel the pain spread across the right side of her head. As she tries to endure it, Missy tries to pull herself from the floor, but she failed, the pain spreading over the right side of her head.

As she sits there in pain, Missy starts to wonder why she didn't leave herself. Sure, Sin demanded that she stayed put, but that was hours ago. Maybe stayed because she was hoping to be rescued by Sin and Felix? Or was it because she knew if she did try to run from this, as she did before, the police would unquestionably be on her back?

Whatever it was, Missy knows it has something to do with Sin and Felix. Maybe the main reason she won't leave is because she didn't want to leave—leave Sin and Felix. Missy always talked about leaving with Loretta and not looking back. Except, she knows she would be leaving alone because Loretta wasn't going to leave even if Missy begs her. Missy knew this much, but knowing how dangerous the city is, she would have to drag Loretta away so she wouldn't be living her life in fear. That was always Missy's priority; protect Loretta. She always felt the need to since she couldn't protect Jefferson the way she could've.

They were both her parents, no matter how others see it. They both raised her, taught her things about life and more. Losing Jeff was hard enough, so losing both of them will honestly break her. The girl didn't want to think about losing her mother, not now, not ever. She doesn't know what kind of person she'll be if Loretta were to die, especially when she could've saved her from it all.
