Missy eyes Mina as she holds the phone up to his face so he could see the news. She could tell from his eyes that he was conflicted, but soon those piercing dark brown orbs just stared at the breaking news report on his sister's phone. Curiosity was eating at her, she wanted to see it as well. Sliding down from the table, she steps beside Felix, looking at the screen as well. His eyes, as well as her own, widen when her picture pops up on the screen. It was the picture she took with Loretta, but of course, they blurred her face out for her safety.
The next picture to pop up was a disturbing one, one she didn't think the news media would broadcast. It is a picture of her tied up, unconscious on the bed Trunk had her on. It was taken by a Polaroid or some vintage camera because the quality didn't look good at all.
"The picture was found at the brutal crime scene of what appears to be a shoot-out. The twenty-one-year-old woman seems to be missing, her last call being her neighbor, Loretta Thomas. With recent kidnappings and human trafficking cases skyrocketing, Detective Marquez states that this might be a lead to the leaders of the criminal organization." The bald man states on the news.
Missy glancing up at the man, the same man that had a smile on his face was now frowning. She could see the rage in his eyes, Missy know what was coming. Felix snatches the phone from his sister's hand and throws it across the room. Everyone could hear the sound of the glass phone shattering the moment it made contact with the wall.
"Felix!" His sister complains, frowning as she stomps over to where he threw her phone. "This is my new phone!"
"How the fuck did we not see that picture! Sin and I searched the entire building before leaving! Shit! Shit! Shit!" Felix shouts causing Mina to stare at Missy weirdly before looking at her unhinged brother who's pacing angrily back and forth.
"This doesn't mean much, Felix." Mina tries to calm her brother down despite him breaking her phone a few seconds ago. "All they know is that Trunks kidnapped her."
"You heard them, Mina! Marquez is on this, meaning there's a lot of shit they're probably not able to tell the news. Fuck," Felix rubs his forehead before leaning against the table. "Is Sin on his way?"
Missy didn't know what to say. This wasn't the first time she witnessed the man be this angry, sure he had his moments, but this was something new for her. All thoughts of him being sexy while angry was just an inside joke that she kept on the inside. Especially when he gets beyond pissed, to the point he black out and rages on anyone nearby. Just like he did that man in Wade's gang.
"I'm sure he's on his way, Candy's all over the news," Mina reassures him before walking towards Missy.
"May I help you?" Missy is annoyed by the situation and by the way Mina has been looking at her this whole time.
