*Third Person's POV*Would you like to have a cup of coffee with me?
That's what Lisa asked — a simple question. But Jennie was trying hard to form a response. She wanted to stay with Lisa longer and hear whatever she got to say. Even if Lisa accused her, or even if she wanted to part ways with her forever, Jennie wanted to listen. She was willing to accept that Lisa likes someone else now. But that doesn't mean she could easily do it. She knew her heart wouldn't be able to bear it if Lisa said she didn't love her anymore.
Nevertheless, she prepared herself for yet another heartbreak and whispered.
"Sure."
Lisa turned her car. Jennie didn't know where Lisa was going. They were away from the rush and chaos of the city. They were still in Seoul, but it seemed like they were driving out to another dimension. Jennie was starting to sober up. Being in the presence of Lisa and the anxiety to know what she got to say helped Jennie to get down from her high sooner than she expected.
Finally, the car stopped. Jennie looked out to find that they were stopped near a lake. There was a bridge across the lake, and they were stopped in front of a house. The place was nicely illuminated, and the house looked well-designed and comfortable.
Jennie looked over to Lisa to find her smiling at her. The Thai got out of the car and opened the door for Jennie.
"What place is this?" Jenie asked, unable to contain her curiosity.
"I asked you for a coffee, didn't I?" Lisa said as she walked towards the bridge.
"Then, why are we here?"
"I will tell you." Lisa giggled.
"Are you planning to murder me or something?"
Lisa laughed.
"No. Not yet."
"Wha–"
Lisa stopped and turned around since she was in the front.
"I will give you answers to all your questions. Go and take a seat." She said, pointing at a wooden bench at the far end of the bridge. "I will get our coffee." She said, leaving Jennie and walking inside the house.
Jennie took a seat on the bench as she was instructed and stared at the still water. The place was so peaceful and quiet. The only interruption to the silence it offered was the chirping of crickets. She stared at the reflection of the full moon on the water and hugged herself due to the cold wind. She closed her eyes, savoring the moment as a memory flashed in her head.
FLASHBACK
Both the girls were teary as the movie finished.
"He really did that for her," Lisa said, sniffling, and Jennie nodded.
Suddenly, Lisa grabbed Jennie's hands and looked into her eyes with determination.
"Babe, if you have any wishes like that, tell me. I will do anything for you."
Jennie giggled. Lisa looked like a puppy.
"You will?"
Lisa nodded furiously.
"I have a wish, though."
"What is it?" Lisa asked, ready to fulfill whatever it was.
"I want to live somewhere nice and quiet. Like, just us. A small, cozy house away from this city, near some water body like a pond or river. So that we can sit there at night and watch the reflection of the sky in the water." Jennie chuckled. "I want the place to be nicely decorated, and it has to be just us. You, me, our pets, and our kids when we have them..." She said, looking away shyly. "We could go for a swim whenever we want, and we could have a barbecue outside at night whenever our friends come over. I want to live like that forever, with you." She giggled again. "That's it. That's my silly wish." She said and looked at Lisa to find her tearing up even more.
