-Sleepy POV-
It's been awhile since Zhara came and I'm honestly not handling it better then when she first arrived. I can barely hold a conversation with her without getting really upset. It's hard to look her in the eyes knowing that we where once best friends. She definitely knows that some things up, she doesn't talk to me unless it's needed.
"Zhara!!" Mk yells taking me out of my thoughts, I follow him inside "what's up? " she answers looking over her shoulder "can you hang out with sleepy? I gotta drop off a few more deliveries then go-" "go train with the monkey King? " she finishes "kay gotchu! I don't mind hanging out with the cool fish friend of mine" "wait-" before I can finish my sentence Mk runs out with the deliveries
Zhara gestures for me to sit with her and tan "So fish man! How have you been? " she asks. I did sit and my tail swishes around in a uncomfortable manner "I've been alright yaknow stealing here n there"
"This place better not be next! I've already got a freeloader to worry about!! " Porksy yells from the kitchen, seriously it was one time!! ONE TIME!! and I paid it back in full!!! "I think I'm more of a loyal customer pigsy! " Nerd says "Loyal customer my ass!! " Porksy yells back
"Wanna head out fishy? " Zhara murmurs to me I nod "yea I'm not a big fan of marriage quarrels" though I admit the ones on the telenovelas I watch with Maccy are entertaining...
"So, what do you do for fun Sleepy? " Zhara asks me as we walk "... Steal? " it's kinda obvious at this point I mean half the things in Mk's apartment I've stolen.. I like swimming too but I don't think she'd fair well in deep sea diving
"So... Would you like to do that then? " she questions rather unsure. I jump up, she's really asking me to steal with her?? I've waited years for someone to ask me to steal with them!! I don't respond instead I grab her hand and drag her to this expensive store "Let's start with this one!! " she looks like she regrets asking me that
"What do we do if we get caught? " she whispers too me "oh easy! We run!!" Hopefully she'll be able to keep up with me if it does come down to that...
She follows me inside the store and I lead her over to where there's a ton of sea related thingies. Not focusing on her looking at all of the items I snag two hair pins and walk to the exit
Zhara follows me confused but she doesn't say anything until we're outside "Hey, I thought you were gonna get something what happened? " I smile mischievously and pull out the pins "I did! " she looks at me shocked "but how?? I mean I wasn't watching you the entire time but I feel I would've noticed if you took some things! " she sounded really really shocked! What was that word again? A... Aston.. Ished?
"Magic!! You manage to snag anything? " she shakes her head "no! I was shocked at how pretty and pricey everything was! "
Before I could respond a women walks out of the store "hey! Did you to pay for that? " she says really damn pissed jeez lady the store probably sells thousands of dollars worth of merchandise everyday!
"Is she talking to us? " zhara turns her attention to me dumbfounded "I think we should get going!" I grab her and begin to run. I don't run too fast so she doesn't trip but fast enough to were the average human can't follow
The both of us walk into Pigys out of breath "you guys look beat" Tang says still in the same seat.. Is that like his favorite seat or something? Zhara laughs "you think? " she looks over to me still out of breath she looks kinda surprised at the fact that I've already caught my breathe
Fixing my pigtails I watch in mild amusement as Zhara practically begs Porksy for some water. When she gets it she drinks it quickly "that was fun!! I mean I wish we could have went to another store and done that again!" I looked at her shocked "really?? " my tail begins to wag out of joy not caring about the Monkey and Dragon duo fist bumping for whatever reason in the corner of my eye
I sit next to her and give her one of the pins putting one of them in my own hair "A gift! Hope you like it!! " she smiles and takes it putting it in her hair I frown then smile again
One time I wanted to buy the three of us matching necklaces but...I got sidetracked and destroyed the entire village and never saw the necklaces again.. Maybe I should steal a pin for macaque too.. That way it'll feel like I really did get us those matching necklaces.
