"You do know that Wukong is immortal right? " the fish asks the monkey and the monkey sighs "I get it It was stupid blah blah blah" the fish tightens the bandages on the monkey, the monkey hisses
Making the bandages into liquid and putting it back in his bottle sleepy states at macaque "don't understand why you had to train him like that though since yaknow you kinda made him stronger" the monkey shrugs "easiest way to do it plus I doubt the kid will use what I told him for anything" the fish shrugs
"I'll be staying here for a bit by the way"
-timeskip abt a week and a half-
Flying to flower fruit mountain on his companion Sleepy throws himself in the middle of the sparring session between the Monkeys
"Sleepy!!! " Mk yells going to hug the dizzy sea demon "Hey fishy! Welcome back!" The ginger monkey greets, sleepy smiles "sorry had a lot to think about I'm fine now though!! "
Sitting on a cliff the three of them begin to ask questions
"Where were you? " Mk says
"In the ocean where I lived before I met you! "
"What were you doing? " the successor continues
"Thinking... about...uh"
"Macaque right? How do you know him? "
"Remeber when I said Prince made one of my friends leave yea...that was macaque"
"Did you know he was back? "
Sleepy shakes his head at Mk's question. Mk goes to ask something else but Wukong stops him telling him to go do something
"Do you.. Still consider him as a friend? " he asks
Sleepy glances at monkey King but looks back at the view "no comment.. "
Monkey King sighs "I'm sorry.. "
Sleepy looks at monkey King staring directly into his eyes
"Huh? "
"I didn't mean to I-"
"I know"
"What? "
The demon shrugs "I forgive you the past is the past and the future is the future"
Wukong smiles at the demon then frowns
"Are you okay? "
"Huh? "
"I mean I wouldn't know how to feel after my Sworn brother who is dead just comes back to life"
Sleepy shrugs "I'm fine"
He stars playing with his tail "I mean I haven't processed it fully but I'll survive" he smiles
-Sleepy POV-
I can't tell if he can tell that I'm lying. well..not fully lying more like half truths but meh
Why am I lying though? Why am I trying to keep this friendship between us? I can throw both of them away use them till I'm satisfied like I've done dozens of times before
So what's different?
I'm different.
Wukong is different.
Im not the person I once was and neither is he
Everyone deserves a second chance.. That's what she said..
