CW// gore but it's not detailed like at all
A demon born from the tides with no purpose only hearing legends of the land from the ones who live below.
Ignoring the cries for mercy from the fish he was eating sleepy discards of the bones and starts swimming to find some more food, finding himself lost in a entire new part of his home
Getting distracted the sea demon explores finding what seems to be a castle of sorts. Though the sea demon not seeing anything like this gets closer being taken on a dragon getting thrown onto the front of the castle a man glares down at him.
The man speaks but it sounds like nothing to the sea demon since he's too focused on trying to move around. Finally standing up and walking around Sleepy looks over to the man who's now turned into a dragon. The sight of this freaks out sleepy
Before he gets to react some guards go up to take him but he fights back not knowing what's happening ending up in his right eye getting damaged. Freaking out by not being able to see sleepy fights back by sending a hudge rush of water inside effectively breaking the barrier set up.
Swimming out and far from there sleepy decides that now is the best time to see if the surface is true or not. Wrapping some seaweed on his injury he swims upwards breathing the smell of fresh air and seeing the sky and the sun.
Sleepy covers his eye from the brightness only being used to the darkness of the sea. He swims in a random direction hoping to find something to see if this 'surface' truly exists.
'It had to exist I mean those people down there looked like me! But they didn't have scales or any gills!' The sea demon thought continuing to swim and coming across a boat a boat with people on it.
Said people spot him and being to yell at the demon in a language he had not heard before. In wonder sleepy goes onto the boat not realizing that the people on board see him as a threat.
He grabs onto one of the men causing him to panic and flail around trying to be free of the demons grasp. The sea demon doesn't let go however, at least until he is pierced by a spear into his side. Sleepy lets go of the man taking out the spear and staring at it
The men throw another spear at him this time only grazing his arm, the demon scowls at the injury and attacks the men biting into their flesh and tearing their heads off and eating what is left of them.
The demon licks the blood off of him and throws the bodies into the ocean, now exploring what the boat has inside of it.
Finding the rooms and looking into the closets sleepy takes some of the clothes remembering how the men wore it and putting it on replacing the seaweed skirt he usually wore.
Continuing his exploration sleepy goes into a different room and looks directly at himself. Freaking out at this he looks around before creeping closer to the mirror and touching it
He jumps back when the reflection does the same, he blinks and beings moving finally realizing that this is him and what he looks like. In awe of this discovery sleepy smiles never seeing himself before
After a bit of looking at himself he explores the room and finds bandages. Not exactly knowing what they do but still deciding this would be better then seaweed. Uncovering his eye sleepy wraps the bandages around struggling to tie them but eventually figuring it out. Doing the same to his two other injuries
Already having explored the entirety of the boat sleepy goes on deck, remembering the fact that he managed to control water for a second.
Messing around for a bit with his new found ability sleepy decides to go into the cockpit ignoring all of the buttons instead he puts out his hand pushing the water and sending the boat backwards at incredibly high speeds

Crashing into a beach sleepy jumps out of the boat and onto the sand feeling the sand on his feet that are now more reminiscent of the men he had killed a hour before. Shrugging it off sleepy looks around spotting a child who's waddling over to him along with two monkeys following it along while talking
The child bumps into sleepy's leg falling over and laughing making the two monkeys look over at the demon who looks down at the child confused "woah uh who are you?" The dark one says making sleepy look to him and tilts his head to the side still confused
The dark monkey picks up the child while the ginger one grabs sleepy from the shoulder causing the demon to jump back and bite him "OW! Hey!! What was that for??" The ginger says in pain Sleepy still looks at them confused "what the hell are you two saying???!!! " Sleepy yells now confusing the two monkeys
"Ah language barrier..." The dark monkey says still holding the child who yawns, the ginger walking over to the two "aw! Sleepy one are ya!!" The ginger says trying to take the child which the dark monkey doesn't allow causing them to bicker.
The child starts crying his red hair going up in flames causing the dark monkey to drop him "oh shit! That burned!!" The ginger laughs "that's what you get!!" This comment causes them both to begin bickering again
Sleepy looks at the child picking it up and shoving it into the water causing it to flail around much like the man on the boat did. The two monkeys notice what he's doing and quickly take the child away "what was that for!!??" The ginger one aggressively asks causing sleepy to tilt his head
The dark monkey pats the child on the back "I think he was just trying to put out the fire on redsons hair.. I'm not sure he knows what he's doing" sleepy smiles and begins walking off causing the ginger to grab onto his shoulder
Sleepy looks over at him confused "wait you haven't told us your name yet!!" Sleepy tilts his head once again and the monkey points to himself " sun wukong!" And then points over to the child and the dark monkey "redson! And macaque!!" He points to sleepy "you?" Wukong tilts his head similar to the way sleepy did so in order to get the question across
Sleepy points to himself not having a name to call himself by before remembering the word they used on redson "Sleepy!"

Sleepy waves goodbye to the two monkeys before going on to explore, after a while he eventually comes across a village full of people
Walking into the village the people begin to yell and run around in fear some throwing things at him. Sleepy ignores this walking on and breaking into some random persons house and walking around seeing food on their table. Sleepy takes all of this and eats it before walking out and being met with a bunch of people with pitchforks and such
Sleepy getting tired of these people and their annoying yells decides to flood out all the people with his magic before ridding the town of their water supply and putting them into drought
At this point sleepy also takes food from other houses now realizing that he can just take whatever is needed
Shrugging this off Sleepy continues on his journey
