Chapter 1: Living on Edge

Y/n's Pov:

We were fighting the Dragon Flyers and the Dragon hunting ships.

"D/n, quick plasma blast!" I exclaimed

D/n shot at the ship hitting a few hunters.

"Nice one, we need to keep the King of Dragons safe." I said

D/n roared in agreement.

Just than D/n's leg got wrapped around by a chain.

"Oh, no. Quick D/n blast the deck." I said

D/n than shot at the deck only to reveal it was made of Dragon proof metal.

"I got you Y/n. Windshear tail slice." Heather said

Windshear sliced the chain freeing D/n and I.

"Thanks you two." I said

"It's not a problem, we better together than fighting alone." Heather said

"Now that makes you sound wise." I said chuckling at the end.

We both started fighting Dragon Flyers and attacking Hunter ships.

That's when we heard a loud roar.

"The king of dragons." I said in awe

I then heard lots of roars behind me and saw a huge stampede of dragons. So many of them were there.

But one thing stuck out among the group. The Skrill.

That's when the Skrill started to go after D/n and I.

"What the heck Skrill. Hiccup and I freed you." I said

That's when the strangest thing happened a blue vortex opened up and right when we flew in D/n got hit by a Dragon Root arrow and the Skrill followed us through.

That was all I remember before everything went black.

I gasped as I woke up in a very strange field right next to D/n and a golden dragon.

"Where am I? Is this Valhalla?" I questioned getting up.

I immediately gasped as I went over to D/n.

"D/n, are you alright?" I asked

D/n gave a painful roar. Before groaning again.

"Hello there Y/n."

That's when I saw an old man standing next to the golden dragon.

"Oh, hello sir. I'm sorry if I'm intruding on anything. But how do you know my name?" I said bowing slightly

"I am the First Spinjitsu Master. I have brought you here because your presence is needed in Ninjago."

"My presence in this, Ninjago? I'm sorry but I don't understand. I'm only a Viking, a dragon rider. Why would I be needed in this Ninjago place?" I said

"I can not answer that. But I worry about your friend so I will help you and give you a gift in return for your journey."

He then made the antidote appear in a bottle in my hands.

"How did you?" I questioned

"In order for you to get this gift are you willing to protect your friend with your life?"

"Of course, if anything we're to happen to D/n is always protect him. He's family and family always look after each other." I said

"Your gift is in your blood, a ability or an Elemental power, Phantom, This is allows you to become completely like a ghost for as long as you like. You will also be able to use this power to summon a sword and use different forms if you achieve that kind of level and be able ,you will be able to call upon of your dragon and use this power as your own, this power is very important in your journey as many evil forces will be after it. I trust you to protect it well and use it for good."
