Chapter 12: Infamous

Y/n's Pov

D/n and I raced around a mountain at full speed.

"Woo-hoo!" I exclaimed

D/n grumbled in excitement as we began to climb up into the clouds.

D/n than fell back down before spinning and straightening back out again.

"At least this is better then being stuck with Darreth." I said

D/n grumbled in agreement before diving below the trees.

"Let's get these last few scenery shots then we'll meet up with the others in where ever Darreth has those boys." I said

D/n rolled his eyes and just weaved through some trees and flew to the shore line. That's when I saw something I couldn't believe.

A camp full of Dragon Flyers.

D/n and I quickly hid behind a boulder near the camp.

"Men, under our leaders order we must find the rest of these lenses." A flyer said holding up a Dragon Eye lense.

"Another one." I whispered

"But we were also given orders to take out anyone riding a Night Fury and to bring them back to the boss." The flyer said

"Come on we need to sneak in and take that lense." I said

D/n groaned at the idea.

"We need to take that lense before they bring it back to their boss. Whoever that is, I don't even know how they got here." I said

D/n roared at me again.

"Well if you have any other ideas than I'm open to suggestions." I said

D/n stayed silent before grunting and urging me onto his back.

"Alright, what's your plan?" I asked

D/n flew out of our hiding spot and shot at the camp.

"Dragon rider!!" One of the flyers yelled

"D/n what are you doing?" I asked

D/n roared and we had 5 Dragon flyers follow us on Singetails.

We flew in any direction trying to shake them but they were good.

"Anytime now." I said

D/n looked serious before he started to climb up above the clouds.

This cause the Singetails to stop following us as they don't like high altitudes.

D/n then did a loop before doing a barrel roll and firing at each Singetail hitting the riders and setting the Singetails free.

"I didn't doubt you for a second." I said

D/n laughed before landing at the camp.

Only to find the leader had escaped with the Dragon eye lense but there were still some other Dragon Flyers around.

"It's an ambush!" I said

D/n jumped back just before a net landed on him.

We took off into the sky dodging Dragon Root arrows.

"Phew, that was a close one." I said

That's when an arrow flew right past my head.

I turned around to see the archer riding on another Singetail.

"Oh you've got to be kidding me." I said

D/n started to fly faster as we raced around the same mountain trying to avoid arrows and fireballs.
