Chapter 21: The Way Back

Y/n's Pov:

"Thank you. I don't know how well ever be able to repay you." Kai said

"Let's just say you owe me one." Skylor said

"Or a few thousand, if we're talking denomination of currency." Ronin said

We then gave him a look.

"What? No reward?" Ronin asked

'Your a bounty hunter and you put us in prison. No. No rewards for you.'

"Hey, your do the same for us. Only with less pizzazz." Darreth said

"I hate to break up the reunion, but may I remind you we have a wedding to stop?" Jay said

"That's right. Jay has his last wish to take the Djinn down." Misako said

"But since we don't have the poison, it'll be up to us to slow him down. Come on, there's no time to waste." Kai said

We then ran towards where the wedding was being held, only to be stopped by Lloyd.

"Wait. If you defeat Nadakhan, his power will diminish." Lloyd said

"Uh, yeah, that's kind of the point." Cole said

"Of course, Lloyd is all too right. If his power diminishes, Djinjago will fall. Ninjago will be crushed." Sensei Wu said

"So even if we win it could have consequences." I said

"Exactly, even if we win, we lose?" Kai said

"Well, whatever you decide, I sure don't want an all powerful Djinn calling the shots. You have to take him out if you have the chance." Captain Soto said

"Ninja, you go stop Nadakhan. The rest of us will return back to Ninjago to prepare for the worst." Sensei Wu said

"Ninja, go!" Jay exclaimed

We all left and Sensei Wu, Misako, D/n and the others took a jet and D/n back down to Ninjago.

Meanwhile Nya had just started walking down the aisle and we ran into some trouble.

A couple of Sky pirates had their swords raised and they all ran at us.

"Get ready." Jay said

Zane then used his ice and froze the floor tripping the sky pirates. Kai then did Spinjitsu, while the rest of us used our powers.

I then pulled out my axe and swung it around sending power strikes where it was swung kicking out any enemy in its path.

Jay then slashed the sword on a Sky pirate capturing them.

"Hyah! Oh, yeah, I forgot it did that." Jay said

I then did another strike knocking more sky pirates back.

"Come on! We need to hurry." I said

Jay then kicked down the door and the sky pirates guarding it.

Though on the inside their were sky pirates using cannons and fired at us.

We ducked down and made our way inside.

Jay then climbed up a pole and jumped over a cannon ball and landed on a cannon knocking two sky pirates back.

"Hah! Two sky pirates with one stone." Jay said

The other cannon was then aimed at Jay.

"Jay, focus." Cole said

He then slid under a cannon ball and slid into the cannon making it hit the sky pirates.

We were trying to get through the door but it was barricaded.
