Chapter 7: Kingdom Come

Y/n's Pov:

We walked up to a gate that opened when a dude walked over to us.

"Welcome to Cloud Kingdom. We've been expecting you." He said

"Ha, how are we..." Jay asked but was cut off

"Standing on a cloud? Easy, in other realms, there are other rules. I'm Fenwick. I've been asked to show you around." Fenwick said

"Nice to meet you, I'm—" Kai said but again was cut off

"Kai, yes, we all know. You're quite popular with the other monks. Up here, we see everything that goes on in Ninjago." Fenwick said

"Then you know—" Cole said

"You've travelled far for the Sword of Sanctuary. A powerful weapon that can foresee your opponent's next attack. It's also the second clue to finding the Tomb of the First Spinjitsu Master." Fenwick said

"Blimey! But how be you—?" Zane asked

"Finishing your sentences? I know, it's rather annoying, but up here we know, let's just say... we know what's going to come next." Fenwick said

"Come, I know Morro isn't far behind. Follow me and I'll explain." Fenwick said

We then began to follow him.

We arrived to a building as Fenwick opened the doors.

The monks gasped and started whispering as they saw us.

"I know you're familiar with a few of the realms. Cloud Kingdom is just one more of the 16 realms that exist parallel to Ninjago." Fenwick said

"Sixteen Realms?" Kai questioned

"In this realm, we strive for greater understanding and let go of distractions. There is no television, no video games—" Fenwick started to explain but got cut off by Jay.

"No video games? Hmph, not impressed." Jay said crossing his arms.

I then punched him in the shoulder.

"Ow." He groaned

"It appears all any lad does here be writing." Zane said

"That is because here our words matter. You see, in Cloud Kingdom, we are the writers of Destiny. It was here that it was decided that Lloyd should be the Green Ninja. And just now, that Zane should find his voice again." Fenwick explained

"I sense my vocal pattern has returned without any repairs." Zane said as his voice turned back to normal.

"Aw! He doesn't talk like a pirate anymore." Jay complained

"How'd that happen?" Cole asked

"It was written." Fenwick said

Jay then saw one of the writers writing about Darreth.

"Hey, guys, he's writing about Darreth." Jay said

He then accidentally knocked over the ink on the paper making Darreth run into a cement mixer and getting the cement in his face.

"Oh, poor Darreth." The Monk said

Jay then laughs nervously.

I then walked over to the shelf that had some scrolls that had writing on them.

'What is this?'

I then grabbed one of them and began to read it.

"It is said that a warrior from another realm is to brought into Ninjago to fight against their greatest enemy. Til the day this happens that warrior will have to face and defeat their enemies and meet their greatest ally along the way."
