Chapter 18: My Dinner with Nadakhan

Y/n's Pov:

When I woke up I felt a lot better.

"Easy Y/n the venom is making its way through your blood." Nya said

I sat up and saw D/n laying near us. Cole was standing next to him holding a canteen.

"D/n! How is he?" I asked

"Easy there, D/n's fine we gave him the cure and he's just sleeping right now. He'll be alright." Cole reassured me

I then heard a dragon roar and saw Lloyd flying back on his elemental dragon.

His dragon disappeared and he fell into the sand.

"You okay? Did you see any land?" Cole asked as he and Nya helped him up.

"Just water. I tried to reach the mainland, but it's too far. We won't be able to get off this island on our own." Lloyd said

"How's Y/n doing by the way?" He asked

"I'm doing just fine, thanks for asking." I said walking beside them.

Cole then started laughing.

"What's so funny about our predicament?" Nya asked

"Oh, I was just thinking about Jay might say to that. "You're telling me we went through all that trouble to get the venom to stop Nadakhan, and now we have no way to get off this island?!" He chuckled "Gone one day, and I already miss him spazzing out." Cole explained

"Me too. After he lied to us, I was so hard on him. And now he's captured and all alone. Some friends we are." Nya said

"We we're definitely too hard on him. Only D/n was standing by his side and now Jay's gone and D/n's recovering. Imagine how Jay must feel right now." I said looking down.

"Hey, Jay's strong. We'll get him back. It's like what Wu once told me, if you want something bad enough, you find a way to make it happen." Lloyd reassured us.

"He's right. If we can't fly off this island, we'll build our way. I've seen the movies to know it's possible." Cole said

"And if we've built a rocket off an asteroid, what's one raft a little..." Lloyd said but got interrupted by Nya.

"Across an endless ocean filled with unknown creatures that wanna eat us and a crazy lighting dragon hiding somewhere?! Uh, that was my Jay impression." Nya said

"Well, what are we waiting for? A red carpet? Let's get building." I said

"Y/n, if you can fix D/n's tail fin, do you think he could fly us off this island?" Lloyd asked

"Yeah, he should be able too." I said

"You start working on that and the rest of us will work on the raft." Lloyd said

"Sounds like a plan." I said giving him a thumbs up.

'After seeing different dragons here it would definitely suck to have the Screaming Death here or any Whispering Deaths or any other dragons. I don't want them to get involved in this world if hey haven't already.'

I grabbed a makeshift hammer and started to straighten out some rods using D/n's fire as a blow torch and shielding my eyes from the heat. I noticed everyone was a bit quiet so I decided to make conversation.

"Did you guys know that me and the other dragon riders from my realm got outsmarted by one man and he manipulated us like a bunch of little kids?" I asked
