TW for this chapter: Talk of funeral, past suicide, smoking, depressive episode

Puffy and Sam were in charge of the funeral, though MD did also help for quite a while since he had been Liam's social worker for a long time.

The Beloveds were asked if they wanted to help plan it too, since they knew Liam well for several months. Mr. And Mrs. Beloved declined.

Phil was made aware that they were planning the funeral, and he decided that he didn't want to help either. He offered for Techno, Tommy and Wilbur to help if they wanted to, but they all said no. Phil didn't blame them.

Liam's funeral was planned for two weeks after he died. It was a quick turn around because it was easy to take elements from his first funeral.

It's weird to think about how this was Liam's second funeral. In all honesty Sam was fine with skipping a funeral the second time around, but Puffy wanted it to happen.

She wanted people to have the chance to say goodbye for the final time. And this time was the final time.

In the time between his death and funeral, Tommy, Ranboo, and Tubbo all changed in slightly different ways.

Tommy started smoking each night on the roof. He was slowly running out of cigarettes from Liam's pack, and he knew he wouldn't be able to ask for more. He decided he would finish the pack before the funeral and then be done with it. When he wasn't smoking he was hiding away in his room.

Ranboo had began to go for runs. Tubbo didn't know where Ranboo went on these runs, just knew he would disappear for an hour or two every morning and evening. Ranboo would go running around the neighborhood, then down to the river, then through downtown. It got to the point where he would run 15 miles or so everyday.

Tubbo on the other had became so depressed that he wouldn't leave his bed. The only time that Ranboo actually saw Tubbo out of bed is when he walked in on Tubbo sitting in the shower, the water running while he was fully clothed. Ranboo hadn't said much then, just turned off the water and got Tubbo some dry clothes.

Techno and Wilbur on the other hand seemed to be trying to stay afloat. Like they knew this time around they couldn't have episodes like they had after meeting Techno's mom and figuring out Liam was Techno's brother.

Techno and Wilbur made breakfast for everyone in the mornings, spent time working on school work and watching movies. By the afternoon they would go for a walk together, and when they got back Techno would work on some sort of project while Wilbur did some song writing.

At the moment Techno's current project was puzzles. He was doing quite a lot of puzzles, his biggest yet was about 10,000 pieces. He spent hours doing them, while he did he would listen to an audio book or put on a show.

Wilbur's songs were reflecting his mood too. They were slow, and a lot of them were sad too. A couple of times Wilbur had to put his guitar down because he couldn't stop crying. He didn't play the songs for anyone.

They were hurting, some more than others.

The day before the funeral Tommy, Techno, Wilbur and Phil all sat at the dinner table. Phil had made pasta for dinner with garlic bread, and they were chatting lightly while eating. Well, Techno, Wilbur and Phil were talking while eating. Tommy was sitting in his chair, pushing around his food while not listening to what was being said.

"I think in a few weeks when it's a bit warmer during the nights I'm going to start planting some stuff again." Techno said.

"Oh yeah? What are you thinking of planting first?" Phil asked. Techno finished his bite of food before talking again.
