"So, how are you doing today? You're not someone who comes in all too much." Dr. Simon asked.

"Yeah, well, I knew after the other day I knew I should probably talk to somebody." Phil said lightly, looking at some of the art on the walls. He recognized some drawings Ranboo and Wilbur did on the wall.

"What about the other day?" Dr. Simon asked and Phil rolled his eyes a bit, he felt stupid.

"You talked about it with the boys. Schlatt's father came to the door and I screamed at him in front of the boys and got angry." Phil said, looking at the degrees on the wall.

"You seem nervous." Dr. Simon observed and Phil nodded.

"Haven't always been a fan of people getting inside my head." Phil said as a light explanation. Dr. Simon nodded.

"Do you think that's what therapy is? Someone getting inside your head?" Dr. Simon questioned and Phil looked down at his shoes, well, they were once Wilbur's shoes, but he outgrew them, so Phil took them. Phil could still see the little stars Wilbur drew on them.

"I mean, not fully, but all the boys keep saying you basically get into their heads during therapy." Phil said and Dr. Simon smiled.

"The boys are easy to read, so it's not hard to do that." Dr. Simon said and Phil nodded in agreement. "You care a lot about those boys."

"Well, yeah, they're my sons." Phil said and Dr. Simon shook his head.

"Not just your sons, but Ranboo, Tubbo, even others who aren't quite boys, Eret, Niki. All of them. You care a lot about all of them." Dr. Simon observed.

"Well, someone needs to." Phil dismissed lightly.

"And that has to be you?" Dr. Simon questioned and Phil didn't respond for a moment.

"If not me then who else? My sons' bio parents all gave up on them, Eret and Niki's did too once they left high school. Somebody has to do it, and I can take care of all of them." Phil explained.

"Tubbo and Ranboo both have wonderful parents, yet you still try to take care of them too." Dr. Simon pointed out.

"I mean, I guess it goes a bit further than just the kids not having parents." Phil said.

"What's the extent of it then?" Dr. Simon asked and Phil had to think for a moment.

"I think I just care about anyone who wants to be cared for. Anyone who wants my love, I'll give it to them." Phil eventually said. Dr. Simon wrote something down on his clipboard.

"Why do you think you love these kids so easily?" Dr. Simon asked and Phil shrugged. "There's no reason why you love them, you just do?"

"Well, I mean, part of it is the parent thing for some of them, and I think the other part of it is just my kids bringing them into the house. They thought these people were kind enough and deserving enough to be brought into a place full of love, so the love spreads to them." Phil said as his best way to explain.

"I'll agree that your home is a place full of love, I know that for sure." Dr. Simon smiled and Phil did too.

"I really try to make it one. They all deserve it." Phil said as he looked at his hands.

"Do you think you're worthy of the same love you give to all of them?" Dr. Simon questioned and just shrugged.

"Probably." Phil said shortly.
