TW for this chapter: Talk of religion, past suicide attempt mention, past rape mention, past abuse mention, past religious abuse mention (back to your regular angst)

Note: This once again talks about religion a lot, specifically the idea of if God is real or not, if God would hate someone or not, if God would be willing to do things. This is purely just for story telling, I do not mean to offend anyone with it.

"Wait what?" Tommy asked and Phil nodded.

"I was petting her and she turned onto her back. I went to pet her belly and I felt something move inside it, then I noticed how she seemed a bit chunkier than usual around her belly." Phil explained.

"Do you think she got pregnant when we lost her back around New Years?" Tommy asked.

"It couldn't have been then, that was like 8 months ago and cats are only pregnant for about 2 months." Techno said.

"Back around when I had my breakdown about Sam's funeral I had stepped outside, and I left the door open." Tommy remembered.

"And Storm had gotten out but came back after like 30 minutes, that was like 7 weeks ago." Wilbur finished.

"That would line up if she is pregnant. It doesn't take much." Phil said.

"We should probably make a vet appointment asap, if she is pregnant then we need to be able to do what we can to help her, if that is when she got pregnant she only has about two weeks before she'll have babies." Techno said and Phil nodded.

"I'll make one in the morning." Phil agreed.

Two days later Phil and Wilbur took Storm to the vet and sure enough she was pregnant. They did an ultrasound (which Wilbur didn't know you could even do on a cat) and saw that she had 4 babies in her belly.

"Now in the next week or so she might start getting defensive, crying a lot, just not being her normal self. That is all completely normal. Her body is getting ready to have her babies and it's in her instincts to try and find a place to give birth. She might be comfortable being around you all when she is giving birth or she may try and hide herself away. My suggestion is to just keep her inside, let her relax where she wants to, and when she is giving birth if she seems okay with you being around then stick around, if she's defensive and scared give her space." The vet explained.

"Is there anything we need to do while she's giving birth?" Phil asked.

"Most cats are able to get through birth by themselves. After birth I would just make sure she is feeding her babies properly, make sure they latch properly, and just keep an eye on the kittens. If one seems off or something doesn't feel right then bring them in asap, but if they seem fine then they shouldn't need an appointment till about 8 weeks." The vet answered. After a few more questions they left the vet office and went into the car.

"Storm you're gonna be a mama!" Wilbur smiled as he pet her. Storm meowed back at him. "We'll have to think about names for all the babies."

"That'll be interesting, you guys could barely decide what to name her." Phil said jokingly.

"I think we should each get to name a baby." Wilbur suggested.

"That should work, but remember we can't keep all four of them. We can probably keep one." Phil said as they pulled out of the vet parking lot.

"I know, but it won't stop me from getting attached to all of them." Wilbur said.

"Of course it won't." Phil said as he playfully rolled his eyes. "Now let's head to the pet store real fast, the vet suggested a couple of things for food for her, and some stuff for the babies."
