Melina's pov
I woke up for my sleep to a loud alarm type shit.
I put on my boots and vest and walked out of my tent to see everyone on the run was back.
I looked for Carl, only to see him, Lori, and Cash hugging a man. Carl looked on the verge of tears.
"Carl!" I shouted, getting his attention. He looked up and ran over to me.
I gently took his face into my hand. "Hey, what's wrong, why do you look like your about to cry?" I asked with a small smile.
"Nothing's wrong, it's just I want you to meet someone." He said taking my hands and leading over to the man that he was hugging.
As soon as Lori saw us coming over she stormed off. The man look confused. Then he saw me and Carl come over.
"Melina this is my father Rick, dad this is my..." He paused looking over to me for permission.
I nodded. "Dad this is my fiancé. I'll explain everything later." He said.
Rick looked shocked at first but then smile. "Congratulations, does your mother know?" He asked.
"No, she kinda hates me. It's nice to meet you though." I said with a smile. "Nice to meet you to Melina." He replied
I then noticed it was not only too quiet but some one was missing. "Hey Glenn, where the hell is my uncle?" I asked worried.
He froze along with everyone else who went on the run. I could feel tears rushing from my face.
"Where the fuck is he?" I asked again this time yelling. Rose ran over trying to get me to calm down.
"Melina, I have need to tell you something." Rick said with a guilty look on his face. I looked at him and nodded letting him know I was listening.
"I handcuffed your uncle to the roof of the building. What I did was not without reason, he doesn't play well with others and going to get us killed." He explained.
I knew that wasn't all of it because I could tell he wouldn't just leave him there to die. Not on purpose at least.
"What else, I know there's more to this story." I stated. He let out a sight before T-Dog spoke up.
"He gave me the key, and I dropped it...down a drain, but before we left I chained the door so the geeks can't get to him."
I nodded in understanding. I knew my uncle didn't get along with others and didn't know when to shut up but he's still my uncle.
Carl wrapped his arms around me as I buried my head in his chest. I let the tears flow. I should be mad at them but I'm not.
I then started coughing really hard. I pulled away from the hug I was in so I could cough up the blood that I knew was coming up with out getting it all on Carl.
Once I through coughing I looked around to see everyone looking at me with worried glances. I smiled at them and look to Carl who had a knowing look.
"Are you ok?" Rick asked, which made me smile. "Yeah, but you shouldn't be worried about." I said.
Everyone looked confused on what I was talking about. I let out a sigh. "Worry about what your going to tell my dad when he gets back from hunting." I said.
Carl looked genuinely scared. I looked at Carl and nodded to his father, letting him know he should tell his father about us.
He nodded and took his dad with him on a walk to tell him everything, while I went back into my tent to get some sleep.
