Cash's pov

It's been a few days and Mel is still on bed rest but she should be able to walk around tomorrow.

I'm cleaning Mel's motorcycle so when she  ready and fully healed we can go for a ride.

As I'm cleaning her bike I see Dave walk on the front porch. I start having some really dirty thoughts.

"I should NOT be having these thoughts. Shit, shit, shit!" I said without realizing it.

"What thoughts." I heard Dave ask behind me. I jump, startled and turned around with horrified look on my face.

"Fuck, you weren't supposed to hear that." I said not looking him in the eye.

"What are you doing?" He asked  I turned to him slowly. "I was trying to wash Mel's bike. However, I can make room for a cutie like you." I winked.

His face exploded with a deep red blush. "I- uh- I-I got to go." He stuttered out and tried to run but I grabbed his hand.

"Wait I'm sorry, I came off a little strong there. Do you want to help me?" I asked and he nodded.

We sat in silence for a few minutes until I got tired of the awkward air. "So, you're an angel?" I asked, not looking up from where I was looking.

"Um yeah." He said something so soft I could barely hear him. I finally decided to pluck up the courage to ask him the question I've been wanting the answer to.

"Have you found your soulmate yet?" I asked my face turned a light shade of pink.

"Yeah I have and I want to tell him but I just met him." He said turning red. I really hoped it was me but before I could say anything Daryl came over.

"Hey, do you know if Melina ate? She said she did but I don't believe her." He asked stopping in front of me.

I respect Daryl. He doesn't take any shit from anyone and he's Mel's dad. Mel's pretty badass when she wants to be and she gets it from her dad.

"No, but why ask me and not Carl?" I asked confused. Carl has been by Mel since she was shot.

"I can't find him anywhere, Lina said he went to do something but she doesn't know what." He answered.

I nodded thinking of where my brother could be and then it hit me.

"Did you ask my dad or Lori?" I asked and he shook his head before walking off.

I then looked over to see Dave isn't there anymore. I let out a sigh and finished washing the bike and went to go find my dad. I needed something to do.
