Melina's pov

I watched as Shane opened the barn letting the walkers out. I couldn't fully wrap my head around everything that is happening.

Eventually everyone stopped shooting, but then we heard another groan come from the barn.

The walker finally stepped out. I could feel myself starting to break. It was Sophia.

"Sophia!" I screamed and started running to her. I felt some one wrap their arms around me stopping me from getting any closer.

"No! Sophia, I'm sorry!" I screamed tears rushing from my eyes. "I shouldn't have left your side, I should've ran with you back to the road!"

I felt numb. I couldn't stop myself from falling to my knees. Rick shot her after a few seconds of hesitating making me cry harder.

I turned to see Cash was the one to stop me from running to Sophia. He hugged and started rocking our bodies trying to get me to calm down.

I then felt another pair of familiar arms wrap around me. I knew it was Carl so I let go of Cash and clung to him instead.

He eventually picked me up and started walking back to the house. I knew this was my fault.

I left her out in the woods. I should've tracked her longer and then maybe I would've found her before she was bit.

We made it into the house and he sat on the couch still holding me. "Don't blame yourself." Carl said.

I looked up at him with a little bit of disbelief. "How could I not blame myself, I left her out there by herself." I said my voice cracking.

"Because you did your best. That's all we could ask from you. We can't save everyone." He said.

I nodded and cuddled up with him again. Olivia then came in and sat on the couch across from us.

I didn't pay her any mind and just cuddled up with my husband. I could feel her staring at us and it was getting on my nerves.

"What, can we help you with something?" I asked her frustrated. She let out a sigh.

"I need to talk to you about something." She said. I let out an annoyed sigh.

I nodded and we got up and walked outside. I could see everyone except my dad by the camp.

I looked to see my dad setting up a camp on a hill away from everyone. I let out a sigh, I knew he was taking this hard.

Olivia had a bottle of water and something in her pocket. She took me into the field right between my dad's camp and the others camp.

I could see everyone was looking at us. I ignored it and turn my attention to Olivia. What ever this was about, it wasn't going to end well.
