san finished writing, shoving the notebook into his backpack before opening the stall door. the noise of the shuffling had pulled wooyoung back into reality as he fixed himself up, opening the stall too, heading towards the sink. san looked up at the movement, freezing as he saw wooyoung's appearance through the mirror.

wooyoung felt eyes on him, again. he looked up, as he finished washing his hands, turning off the water as they locked eyes. san, he felt his heart skip a beat as he held eye contact with him for a moment before quickly going to leave the bathroom.

unfortunately, san moved quicker than wooyoung could. he shook his hands dry as he felt something when he held the eye contact - he turned around too late, seeing him leave as he sighed. "the fuck?"

san's heart beat quickened as he made his way to his class, sitting down with a huff - he placed his elbow on the desk, resting his head on his hand as he thought of the boy. speaking about the boy, the door o the classroom swung open harshly by mistake which took san out of his thoughts, eyes automatically following his former best friend, making him zone out again as he stared at him directly.

wooyoung sat down with a huff, seeing all the stares at him before seeing the one from the bathroom. they locked eyes again, san shuffled in his seat under wooyoung's gaze as he quickly looked at the floor. a small laugh came out of wooyoung's mouth as he put his view on the board at the front of the classroom.

please work with your tablemate or find someone to work in duo pairs, assignment due in two days!

the blonde looked around, seeing almost the entire class paired up before his eyes went back to the mysterious boy he kept seeing everywhere today. he stood up, pulling the seat out from the table as he sat down.

the chair scrapping the floor made san swallow the lump in his throat, his head turning to face wooyoung hesitantly with big, confused eyes. wooyoung saw the emotions in his eyes. he pointed at the board where it said "duo pairs" before giving a small smile.

san looked at the board before back to wooyoung giving a small nod as he fidgeted with his pencil. "which part do you wanna do?" wooyoung rested his head against his hand, looking at the boy. "whatever you don't wanna do." san replied with a shrug, looking at him with deep admiration.
"i'd do the conclusion and the second paragraph then" wooyoung smiled, tilting his head as he squinted his eyes.

"do you have a staring problem?"

the sudden words took san aback, his eyes furrowing as he tried to figure out a response.

"no, i don't." he gave a dull response, contrary to his feelings as he took out the packet to start working. "im kidding, dont worry" wooyoung placed a hand on his shoulder before looking over at the packet.

san's eyes fluttered shut for a moment at the feeling of his touch before taking out another pencil, handing it to him.

"oh! thank you" wooyoung's fingers brushed against sans as he took the pencil, writing his name on the packet before twirling the pencil between his fingers, waiting on san.

san's breath hitched as he quickly pulled his hand away - he pulled out the notebook from his backpack, getting a piece of blank paper from it before setting it off to the side as he began writing for the assignment.

wooyoung watched him for a moment, his eyes lingering on the notebook as he saw some pages filled out from top to bottom, front and back as san flipped through to find a empty piece. he shook it off since it wasn't his business, leaning over to his own desk as he grabbed his bag.

he started researching for the assignment. "oh hey" he turned his head, facing his work partner. "i never got your name" san looked over to him for a moment before back to the paper. "san."

wooyoung's eyes widened before shaking off the feeling. anyone can be named san, it's not like that's his best friend, no way. "nice to meet you." he got a hum as a reply as he continued staring.

the urge to look away was slim as his eyes adverted to his lips - seeing the pout, he bit his lower lip, turning to face his laptop. san remained silent, his mind filling with things to say to wooyoung but he lacked the courage to enact.

wooyoung started writing down his side, humming a small tune as his hair fell over his eyes, his tongue slightly sticking out while san finished his part, looking up to tell wooyoung before he fell silent at the sight. he chewed on his bottom lip, taking in his appearance.

wooyoung felt his hand cramping up as he finished his work with a sigh. something in him told him to actually do the work, instead of having the other do the rest. he lifted his head back up, turning his head before he locked eyes with him. san quickly looked down at the paper for a moment before back to wooyoung.

"i um, finished- is your hand cramping?" he eyed the hand, tilting his head to the side slightly as he'd noticed before that it happened a lot to the younger.

"huh? oh, yeah. i just overwork my hand sometimes, no biggie." wooyoung gave a comforting smile as he nodded. "same, i dont think we were supposed to finish this early he spoke as he looked around the room, seeing everyone still working."

"oh- here" san took the boy's hand, rubbing it carefully to get rid of the cramp as he gave a small hum. "i guess we work good together." wooyoung froze up for a second, looking down at their hands before meeting his eyes again.

"i suppose so, san."

san looked up at his eyes as he heard his name, his heart beating faster as he let go of the hand. the younger gave him a smile before putting away his stuff, feeling his phone buzz - he quickly took it out, seeing it was messages from the group chat and his boyfriend. "hey, we can finish the final piece during lunch at the library?" he looked up from his phone with a head tilt.

"sure.." san looked away from him, gathering his things as he was overtaken by jealousy.

"alright cool, laters!" wooyoung stood up, slinging his bag over his shoulder as he left the classroom, going to meet up with the others.
