funny. liar. unbelievable.

that's all wooyoung could think about this situation right now.

he knew his friend wasn't right in front of him. the friend that left him to fight for his place right now. the friend who didn't realize the effect his disappearance made impacted wooyoung's life.

the silence was long, awkward and tight. so tight that it's squeezing the air out of san as wooyoung just stared at him. his thoughts weren't helping him either.

he believes he just ruined any chance he had with befriending wooyoung again, and that broke him completely.

he was fighting back so many urges. not to split, to go insane, cry, scream, pick at his skin, and every other things that can harm san from his reality.

was this really my san?

wooyoung watched him with narrow eyes before it fell on his wrist. the only thing he needed to know if san was lying or not.

"holy shit?" his eyes flicked back and forth between the two bracelets, looking up at san. "where the fuck have you been?"

"are you saying this because you're realizing i used to be your best friend, or?" san spoke in a bitter, sarcastic tone though he gave a small smile, pulling the sleeve back down. "glad you like it."

"yes, you literally just disappeared off the face of the earth! you owe me 2 years worth of tears." the blonde huffed, rolling his eyes jokingly. "thank you.." wooyoung didn't know why but he felt his cheeks heat up.

"some stuff happened.." san scratched the back of his head before shaking it dismissively. "well i'm here now, aren't i?"

"are you okay- yeah.. you changed,, alot. holy fuck." he covered his mouth, everything now hitting him. his eyes analyzed san, the way his hair was now cut and dyed black but if light hits his hair, it shined blue. his face got sharper and he got a lot thinner. he stopped wearing his glasses. his arms, he's strong now.

"i could say the same for you,, i always knew you'd do well in highschool- being popular and all that shit. i guess i was right" san gave a small hum, leaning back in his seat, continuing. "y'know, the last night we saw each other, do you remember when i told you i'd always come back? you were confused and laughed it off. but i meant that, and i'm here to prove it now."

wooyoung adverted his eyes back to meet his. "you fucking bitch!" he let out a small laugh. "so you knew? thats why you were so attached to me that day. it was your last." he scratched his arm, shrugging. "but you werent right about me enjoying being popular!"

san rolled his eyes playfully, nodding. "i gave you as many hints as i could, but you're so thick-skulled!" he let out a small laugh before it faded. "i know, you feel like everyone is watching, especially when you make mistakes."

"i was like 10, how the hell was i supposed to glue the hints together and find out the one i can only tolerate was leaving." the blonde sighed, nodding. "everyone is on me, especially for special days.. like today for instance. we're lucky enough no one is surrounding me right now."

"i don't know, i didn't think that far ahead!" san shrugged, letting out a small huff before tilting his head to the side slightly. "well i hope you still know that i see the real you."

wooyoung leaned over the table, his arms on the table as he shook his hands. "thank you." a small pout formed on his lips. "we have to make up for lost times then. thats an order!" his pout changed into a smile, resting his chin on the table.

"okay." he rested his head on the table to be more level with wooyoung, giving a smile as they stared into eachother's eyes.

something about staring into san's eyes made wooyoung think. his mind went back to last night, the day at the cafe, the hallway. he realized it wasn't a coincidence that they kept bumping into each other now. a small scoff slipped his lips.

"how long have you been stalking me."
