*Jay's Pov*
The next morning, Taylor walked into work with her head down. Her and Hank shared a look but she shook it off and walked away from him.
"The Agency." Said Hank as pointed at the board.
"What about them?" Asked Taylor.
"We have a feeling they are responsible for the three deaths of the girls."
"What deaths?" I asked as I sat up to listen in.
"The three girls that were here the other day took a plane to Bali. They never made it. Someone killed them on the flight."
"Where's the list of the Cabin Crew?" Asked Taylor.
"They all took off." Said Hank.
"Of course they did. So we have three dead girls and absolutely no leads."
"We have The Agency." Said Hank as he galred at Taylor.
The rest of us looked around the room at each other before we focused our eyes back to the board.
"I don't think it's the Agency." Said Taylor.
"Your opinions don't really matter."
"Of course it does. If you want to solve this case, I suggest you listen to me, Hank."
"A liar? You want me to listen to a liar?"
"Hey! Don't go there." Snapped Taylor as she got up and walked towards Hank.
"I've got a video from the plane." Said Adam as he turned his computer to us.
Taylor was stood behind Kevin and hid behind him when the issue was happening. They all drank something before they had a seizure.
"They were given crackers to dry there mouths out, making them need a drink." Said Kim.
Taylor ran out of the room and threw up in the toilet. I quickly followed her out to the bathroom, holding her hair back.
"You okay?" I asked her before she slid her back down the door.
*Taylor's Pov*
I was on the bathroom floor as my breathing picked up. I couldn't focus on Jay or his voice. Everything went blurry as images of that night flashed up.
Seeing his face as I fell down the fire escape. The pain my body felt as I hit the floor. My hair was soaked and the rain started to feel like snow. It was numbing the whole of my body like it was now. Except this was tears. Cold tears ran down my face as I remembered that night. And then I remembered the other night.
It was so quiet. The halls were empty and no one was cooking food. I tried to make some cupcakes but as soon as my hand reached out to the sink, I broke down into tears. Warm arms wrapped around my body to hold me up as I cried.
"Taylor?" Asked Jay as he picked me up from the floor and placed a mint in my mouth.
"I'm sorry. Seeing those girls die like that, it made me feel sick."
"It's fine. That is a perfectly normal reaction."
"I'm sorry. I'll be out in a minute."
"It's fine. Hank wants us to follow up on a lead anyway. He said something about some anesthetic canisters."
I looked up at him with panicked eyes. They were getting closer and closer. Soon they would be right on top of it and our business would be out in the open for everyone to see.
Jay led me to his truck and turned on the air conditioning because I was sweating. I can't do this anymore.
The secrets. The lying.
