*Jay's Pov*

"Hey, I wanted to show you guys something." Said Antonio as he took a seat and pulled out his phone.

It was a video from the alleyway that the girls ran off to earlier today. It showed Taylor fighting them and she already knew their moves. The second they stepped forward with one foot, she took it right out.

"Wait, pause it there." Said Kim as she pointed at the screen.

"Who the hell is that?" Asked Kevin.

"Where am I looking?" I asked as I lifted myself out of my seat.

"Here." Said Kim as she pointed to someone dressed in black with a canister of some drug in his hand.

He grabbed two masks as Taylor held the girls in place. The mask was shoved onto their faces and for a second, the two girls stopped what they were doing and just stared at the hooded figure. Taylor walked out with the two in cuffs before waving to the hooded guy.

"What the hell?" Questioned Adam as he took the phone from Antonio.

"Look at the shoes, I know someone who wears those." Said Kim as she turned the phone.

"Where are you going?" I asked towards the two.

"To the hospital."

I was quick to follow them out but the others stayed. When we got to the hospital, Kim walked straight up to a guy in black scrubs and smacked him into the wall.

"Kim, what the hell?" Asked Will as he shoved her away.

Adam put his hands on Will's shirt and shoved him into the desk. I got in between them to stop anything from going down.

"We need to ask Crockett some questions."

"He's not here." Said Will. "You just grabbed the wrong person."

"Oh. I'm so sorry." Apologised Kim and let the man go.

"Where is he?" Asked Adam.

"I don't know. He left early."

"He asked to finish early. He said a friend of his needed help." Said Maggie as she joined us.

"What friend?" I asked.

"I don't know, I didn't ask. He seemed worried so I let him go."

"The second he comes in for his shift, I want to speak to him." Said Kim.

"Okay. I'll call you."

And with that, we left. Adam and Kim headed back home to cool off because they were angry and I headed down to Navy Pier for a break.

This week had been stressful filled with lots of arguments and questions. I needed to find Riley, she was alive and all this time, we knew it but we gave up. I gave up on her.

"You can't drink in public." I said as I walked up to a woman, who was sat on the edge of the fence with a neat bottle of whiskey in her hand.

"I know but I don't care."

I recognised the voice as Taylor and I went to sit with her. She handed me the bottle of whiskey, which I took and placed far away from her.

She was holding a red bracelet in her hand, similar to the one that the girls were wearing.

"Why do you have that?" I asked her.

"It belonged to someone I used to know." She said as I watched a tear fall.

I cupped her face and wiped the tear off her cheek but it caused her to cry more.

"Who's was it?"

"No one special."
