Chapter Eight: Teleported

(A/N: HEY GUYS!!! HOPE YOU ENJOY THE CHAPTER!)

Sydney's POV:

What kind of person breaks into your "house", throws you in a bag, and threatens to cut your head off? An insane person, a killer, murderer? Well I was about to find out. I hear the sound of a door click behind me. Nick is silent, he must be thinking of a way to escape. We are dragged onto a smooth platform that starts going up, must be an elevator. I hear a ding and then we're being dragged again. Then we come to a stop and the bag opens. I feel hands grip my feet and they yank me out of the bag. I look up at my captor, it's a girl. She's wearing black jeans, black combat boots, black fingerless gloves, and a flowy white tank top. She has hair that looks like gold, and gray, wait green, no blue! Let's just say her eyes change colors. Over her one eye there's an eyepatch with a scar running through it. Wonder how she got that. She grins and then pulls out Nick. She examines us and then grabs both of our hands and pulls us towards a door. She opens the door and pulls us through it. Inside is a cell with two beds, a stall, and a bookshelf? The girl opens the cage and throws us in it. She walks out of the room.

"What do we do??!!?" I say with fear in my voice.
Nick looks at me and says " I think I have a plan.."

He explains the plan, he uses his balance powers to move the bars, picks the lock on the door, and I flood the place with water.

"What if it doesn't work?" I say nervously.
He thinks for a minute then says "Trust me, it will work."

Josh's POV:

I see Autumn and Jade looking at me and Drew. Why were they out here? And where is Sydney? We came out here because we heard a scream.

"What are you guys doing here?" Autumn asks.
"We heard a scream." Drew says.
"Why are you guys out here?" I ask.
Jade and Autumn look at each other.
"What?" I ask.
"Ummmm...someone kinda took Syd.." Jade says.

For some reason it feels like my heart jumped out of my chest, in a bad way. I clench my fists and take a deep breath. Everyone is looking at me. They all look concerned.

"Then we have to go find her." I say.
"Right." Jade says. "Where's Nick?"
We all look at each other and frown.
"He was probably taken too." Drew says.
"Yeah." Autumn says.
They make eye contact for a couple seconds then look at their feet.
"Where do you think they are?" I say.
"We can look for clues." Autumn says.
"Alright let's start in here." I say.

We spend the next 20 minutes looking for clues, but find nothing. We go outside and look and find a weird device. I pick it up and yell for the others to come over and see it. Jade takes it from my hands and examines it.

"I think it's a teleporter." She says.
"Where does it lead to?" Autumn asks.
"Well there a button that says home, so we might want to press that one." Jade says.
"That makes sense." Drew says.
"Now, in order for it to work properly we all need to hold on to it." Jade says as she places her hand on it.

Autumn places hers on next, then Drew, Autumn's face gets red when he puts his hand on hers, and then I put my hand on it. Jade presses the button, and we are teleported.
