Chapter Twelve: Bang

(A/N: HEYY GUYS SORRY I HAVENT POSTED IN FOREVER! BUT NOW THAT SCHOOLS ALMOST OVER I WILL PROBABLY BE ABLE TO POST MORE OFTEN. ENJOY THE CHAPTER.;):))

Autumn's POV:

Pain.
That's all I feel.
It's in my chest, my ankle, my hips, and mostly my head. All I can remember is being teleported to a desert like place and being dragged on the ground. My head hit something sharp and I blacked out. Now I'm surrounded by bars. Crap. I spot a small bed in the corner and decide to go sit on it. I carefully stand up and limp over to the bed. I notice an orange jumpsuit with a note on it laying on the bed. The note reads 'Put this on or face the consequences.' I decide to put it on. After I'm dressed I plop down on the bed. Suddenly the door creaks open and a girl steps into the cell. It's Ali.

"Master Gale has requested to see you." She says with no emotion in her voice.
"Ali?"
She looks at me like I said something terrible. "Im not Ali anymore."
"Then who are you?"
"I'm servant number two."
"What?"
"Servant number two." She says sounding a little robotic.
"Al- I mean servant number two."
"Yes."
"Who's Gale?"
"Uhhhh, you'll find out."

She grabs my arm and pulls me out of my cell. Pain immediately erupts inside of me and I wince. I see a dim light at the end of the hallway and hear quiet voices. I can't quite make out what their saying, but I'm sure it's not good. When we reach the end of the hallway, we appear in a big cavern like place. In the dead center is a gigantic throne with someone sitting on it. It's the man that captured me. He sees us then grins evilly. This can't be good.

"Autumn we're so happy to have you here." He looks around then continues. "Just for safety reasons we will have you handcuffed just in case you decide to use your pesky powers."

I forgot about my powers. Right before I can use them I feel a pair of hand grab mine then quickly put the handcuffs on.

"Now." He says. "Allow me to introduce myself."
He grins then says "I'm Gale, ruler of the dead."

Sydney's POV:

I wake up on the floor. How'd I get here? I look around and see Jade, Drew, and Josh talking to Nick.

"We have to at least go check and make sure she's okay." Drew says.
"Yeah, I agree." Josh replies.
"Me too." Jade says.
Nick sighs then says "Fine."
"I'll go wake Syd up." Josh says.
He turns around and says "Never mind she's already up."

I stand up and walk over to them. They look worried.

"What's going on?" I ask.
"Um well people have gone insane and Autumn hasn't come back yet." Jade says casually.
"What!" I say a little too loudly.
"Yeah we're going to go and make sure she's okay now." Drew says.
"Alright." I say heading toward the door.
I feel a hand on my shoulder. I spin around and see Josh.
"Syd, we don't know where she lives." He says.
"Oh, yeah." I say suddenly feeling stupid.
"It's okay Syd." He says with a smile.
We walk back over to Josh, Drew, and Jade.
"Sooo, how do we find her?" I ask.
"Well, I know where she lives." Jade says.
"How?" I ask.
"Uh, I live across the street from her." She says.
"Well then we'll transport to your house, Jade." Nick says pulling his teleporter out of his pocket.

Jade says the address then Nick throws it on the ground. A hole appears and Nick looks at everyone.

"You guys ready?" He asks.
I gulp not knowing what to expect on the outside world.
"Yup." Josh says.
Then we all jump in.

Unknown POV:

My parents are gone. I can't get the image out of my brain. Two crazy guys barged in our house and took my parents. I tried to help, but it was too late. I now sit in my room in he corner crying. What do I do? I shouldn't have made the mistake of running after that girl because if I didn't I could of saved them. Now I was alone without anyone to comfort me. I wipe my eyes with the back of my hand, I can't cry. I have to be strong, for my parents. I get up and go over to my window, I notice a picture of me and my parents on my dresser. Tears fill my eyes but I manage to hold them back. I look away from the picture and direct my attention to the outside world. Why are people acting like this? Cat calls and screams fill the air. People are throwing objects and getting into fights on the street. I hear a bang downstairs and then whispers. I grab my baseball bat and slowly walk downstairs. I walk into the kitchen and see five people. Two are girls, three are boys. They all look at me standing as still as statues.

"Uhhhhhh..." I say trailing off. "Who are you?"
They all look at each other until the dark brown haired boy says "Um sorry we thought this was someone else's house. "
"Oh okay."
They are about to leave when the light brown haired boy asked "Have you seen a girl with dirty blond hair and bluish greenish eyes??"
I suddenly remember the girl who I'd seen in the street.
"I think so." I say.
"Really?!?!"
"Yeah, and was being dragged by a man and they went into a portal thing. It was weird."
They all look at me wide eyed.
"What's your name?" He asks.
"Uh, Jason.."
"Ok, hi Jason I'm Drew and these are my friends Jade, Nick, Sydney, and Josh." They all do a small wave.
"You see, the girl you saw is Autumn. She was taken by an evil man named Galeouls, or Gale for short."
"Oh" I say.
"Can you help us find her?" The guy named Josh asks.
"I guess.."
"Great!"

They start walking out the door then look back to see if I'm coming. Drew motions for me to come. I look at my kitchen one last time the run to them. I have a feeling that it won't be the same when I return.
