(A/N: Hey guys! Sorry I haven't updated in a while. I just started school, and the first week has been stressful. I'll try to update more as soon as I get adjusted to this new year. Thanks for all your support! Enjoy the chapter!)
Jade's POV:
I decided to skip breakfast.
I didn't feel like eating anyway.I stare at my ceiling watching my fan go round and round.
'Why do people have to be so stupid?!? (A/n: '' is their thoughts) And why am I so stupid?'I sigh realizing I can't stay in bed forever, so I get up and jump in the shower. After I'm finished I dry off and change into my favorite outfit, my combat outfit.
It consists of black leggings, a black tank top, a black breastplate, and my black combat boots to top it off. I put my short choppy hair into a ponytail and slip my two ninja swords into their sheaths on my back so they make a cross.
I take a deep breath in and start packing a bag. Once I'm done open my door and slip out of my room. I make sure the coast is clear and I run out the door, I can't stay here I have to go. Once I'm outside I run toward the shadow of the tree that sits in the hill. I use one of my powers called shadow traveling (the ability to travel through shadows) and slip into the darkness.
I don't exactly have an ideal destination in mind, but I do know one thing.
I have to get out of here.
Sydney's POV:
I pull away from Josh's lips and smile. Since when was my life this good!?
He looks at me with his beautiful blue eyes and smiles.
"I love you, Sydney." He says hugging me.
"I love you too." I reply hugging him back.
I hear a door open and me and sped Josh immediately jump apart. I look to see who it was, and see a confused looking Jason standing outside the door from the kitchen.
"Uhhhh....did I interrupt something?" He asks arching his eyebrow.
My face heats up. "N-no, Josh and I were just...." I try to think of some kind of excuse but Josh beats me to it.
"Discussing plans and stuff." He says in a weary tone.
Jason doesn't really look convinced but just shrugs and heads to Nick's old room, that's where he's been staying for the time being.
Once he's gone, Josh and I let out a huge sigh. Josh looks at me and says, "Syd, I know it's hard hiding our relationship but if we opened up...."
"I know." I say "We'll tell them when the time is right."
He smiles and says "Did I already tell you that I love you?"
Amber's POV:
I smiled.
Drew is so nice, he seems to be the only one that cares about me. The rest of them either scold me or ignore me. Okay, yeah they have a pretty good reason to but it's not quite what it seems. You see I have these voices in my head that tell me to do things and I can't really control it.
Since I'm half good and half bad, my bad side takes over and I do what the voices in my head tell me to do. Creepy right.
"Amber?!"
I see someone snapping in front of me snapping me from my thoughts.
"What?" I reply.
I realize that Drew was the one snapping.
"You had me worried, you were just standing there staring off into space..." He says.
My cheeks heat up from embarrassment. "Yeah....sorry about that, I just kinda zoned out."
He smiles then says "That's okay, I zone out all the time."
I giggle and he snorts causing my to laugh even harder. When we finish our laughing fit, Drew leaves the kitchen and goes to training. I walk back to the infirmary and lay down.
I look up at the ceiling and think about every bad thing that I had done. I sigh knowing that the memory's will haunt my mind forever.
I close my eyes and drift off to sleep with all my regrets lingering in my mind.
