Chapter Fifteen: Jealousy

(A/N: Hey guys!!! I feel soooooo bad because I haven't updated in like years! I was sick for two weeks so that stunk, but I'm better now so yay! Well without further ado, I present to you.....CHAPTER 15!!!!;))

Josh's POV:

I lay in my bed staring at the celling.
She probably hates me now. I mean, what kind of guy kisses a girl then runs off?
I guess me.
I feel so dumb right now, I have to apologize.
I get up and head over to Syd's room. I quietly knock on the door, not thinking that she would answer, I start to walk away.

"Josh?"

I spin around on heel and see a tired Sydney standing outside of her door. Her hair is in a messy bun, and she's wearing short blue shorts with a white t-shirt.

"Why'd you knock on my door?" She asks.
"I didn't know that you heard that..." I said.
She looks at her feet then says "Yeah....I couldn't sleep."

For like two minutes we just stand there in dead silence.

"Uh..so why did you come here anyway?" Sydney asks me.
I look into her eyes and say "I-I came to say that I'm sorry."
She looks confused. "What are you sorry about?"
Uhhh. "Aboutkissingyou!" I say really fast.

Her eyes widen.
Oh crap.
But then she does something I would never expected her to do. She started to laugh.
I raise an eyebrow.

"Josh!" She says while laughing. "You kissing me is not something to be sorry about!"
I stare at her in shock.
Why?" I ask.
She smiles then says "Because it was the best thing that's ever happened to me!"
"Bu-but." I start but Syd runs up to me and kisses me.

It felt as everything in the world had stopped and me and Syd were the only ones living.

Once we pulled apart she looked up at me and said "I like you, Josh."

I smile then say "I like you too."

Drew's POV:

I wake up feeling refreshed.
I take a quick shower and throw on a pair of jeans and white t-shirt.
I exit my room and head towards the kitchen to get some breakfast.
As I near the kitchen, I can hear people laughing.

I walk in and see Jason and Autumn cracking up about something. They look as if they'd known each other for years.

Sydney and Josh keep stealing glances at each other, but aren't talking to each other.
Weird.
I go into the kitchen and start making coffee.

I hear the door open and see Amber walk through the door.
Autumn turns around and immediately stops laughing.

"Why is she here?" Autumn asks cruelly whipping her head around to look at me.
I look at her intently then say "Well, when we rescued you, she was there too. She was badly injured, so we took her back here and healed her."

Autumn whips her head back around so she's facing Amber. Amber smiles and does a half wave. Autumn turns back around, with a disgusted look on her face, and continued to eat her bagel.

Amber stands there unsure of what to do, fiddling with the hem of her shirt.
I quickly make another cup of coffee and walk over to her.

"Here." I say, giving her the coffee.
She looks up at me in disbelief.
"Really? You made this for me?"
I smile a little and say "Yeah, if you don't want it, you don't-"
She cuts me off and says "No, I defiantly want it."
She takes a gigantic sip and ends up with a coffee mustache.
I start laughing like a maniac. She gives me a look like 'what?' which just makes me crack up even more.

I point to my upper lip and say "You-you got something there."
Her eyes widen and she quickly wipes her upper lip off.
She glares at me then slowly starts to laugh.
Soon, we're both laughing like maniacs, and it wasn't even that funny.
I guess we just needed to laugh then, it might be one of the last times we ever will.

Autumn's POV:

I watch as Drew and Amber crack up laughing, enjoying each other's company.
I feel like I'm gonna be sick.
It's just something about them together that makes me sick to my stomach.
I take the last bite of my bagel and put my plate in the sink.
I say bye to Jason, then walk out of the kitchen.

I walk into the main area and sit down at the table.
'What's wrong with me?' 'Just cause he's talking to another girl doesn't mean you have to get all upset!!'
I rest my elbow on the table and sigh.
I jump when I hear two people walking toward me.
I realize it's Syd and Josh, so I crawl under the table and hide.

"Syd, are you sure no ones out here?" Josh asks.
"I'm positive." She says sounding confident.
Suddenly they stop talking and all goes silent.
I peak out from under the table, and gasp.
Syd and Josh are kissing.
I always knew they had a thing for each other, but I didn't know that it was this serious.

I crawled out from under the table, and quietly made my way to my room.
Neither of them noticed, they were too engrossed with each other.

When I enter my room, I run over to my bed and flopped down on it. I scream into my pillow and start pounding it.
I stop and start crying.
I have no idea why but, I can't seem to stop.
I don't even like Drew!
Do I?
Even if I did like him, I know he wouldn't like me back.
I can tell he likes Amber.
I don't want to be jealous, but my heart isn't really listening to my brain.
I know it's wrong, but I'll admit it.
I'm jealous.
And the jealousy is driving me insane.
