Chapter Seven: "The Best Sleepover Ever"

Unknown POV:

"Idiots." I mumble.

I walk up to the circular building. I've been searching for two hours and I already found it. They are not very good hiders. The force field doesn't work on me because I'm not all evil..well that's debatable. Anyway I find the door and start hacking into the control panel next to it. This will be easy.

Sydney's POV:

I walk out of Autumn's room and see Josh talking to Drew. They both turn to look at me, I do a small wave. Josh smiles and waves back, Drew just looks annoyed. I run over to my room and enter. I start getting the place ready for the sleepover. I grab a bunch of blankets, pillows, and start making popcorn. I find some movies and turn on the TV. All of the rooms have pager systems that allow you to talk to people in their rooms. I type in Jade's room on the keypad.

"Jade?" I say.
After 10 seconds Jade says "What?"
"Do you want to come to my room for a sleepover?" I ask.
"Not really." She says.
"Why not?"
"Sleepovers are a waste of time."
"No there not!" I protest.
"Uh fine, I'll come."
"Yay!" I scream."Be over in ten!"

Autumn's POV:

I throw on some red pj pants and a white t-shirt. I put my hair up in a ponytail and slip on my black flip-flops. I grab my phone of the nightstand and see a four texts, all from my mom. MY MOM!!! I totally forgot!!! I read all the texts.

9:10, " Are you on your way home yet?"
9:30, "Why aren't you answering my calls?"
10:00, "Where are you?"
10:30, "I'm coming to pick you up, and your in big trouble."

I look at the time on my phone, it's 10:40. I text my mom back.

"Sorry I didn't answer your texts, my phone died. I'm spending the night at Ali's house I'll be home in the morning."

I send it and wait for her to respond. She starts to write back.

Then a text pops up. "Ok, just make sure your home by 6:00."
"Alright." I text back.
"Goodnight Autumn."
"Night mom."
I turn off my phone and walk out the door. Josh is walking into his room leaving Drew by himself sitting at the table. He turns around when he hears my door slide shut. Here we go. He looks at me from head to toe.

He says "Where are you going?"
"To a sleepover thing in Syd's room." I say.
"Cool." He says.
"I guess I'll see you tomorrow." I say.
"Yeah see ya."
"Bye."

He gets up and walks into his room leaving me alone. I sigh. Why does it have to be so awkward between me and him? I walk up to Sydney's door and knock. The door slides open and Sydney pulls me through it. She lets go of my arm and fling me into the blankets and pillows set up on the floor. We both start laughing. When it stops there's a knock at the door. Sydney presses the button that opens the door and Jade is standing in the doorway wearing dark green pj pants and a black tank top. She walks in and lays down on the blankets and pillows.

"So what are we doing first?" Jade asks.
"Do you wanna watch a movie?" Sydney asks.
"Sure." Me and Jade say in sync. "What movie?"
"I picked a couple out, Mean Girls, Frozen, The Little Mermaid, or Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire." Sydney says.
"The Little Mermaid?" Jade says trying to stifle a laugh.
"It's a really good movie!" She says.
"Well we're NOT watching that."
"Why not?"
"Because it's stupid."
"No it's not!!"
"Guys." I say. "Let's just watch a different movie."
"Ok, I say Harry Potter." Jade says.
"Me too." I say.
"Me three!" Sydney says.

Sydney puts the movie into the movie player and the movie starts. As the movie ends, Sydney turns off the TV and turns on the lights. She tells us what we're gonna do next.
"Wait what??!?!" I say.
"Heck no." Jade says.
"Why not?" Sydney says. "It'll be fun!"
"Syd scaring the boys isn't fun..." I say.
"Yeah, don't get them involved." Jade says.
"Let's just talk." I say.
"Fineeee." Sydney says.
"So...watcha wanna talk about?" Jade asks.
"I don't know." Syd says.

Suddenly there's a banging coming from outside Sydney's door. Sydney screams and runs over to the corner. Jade starts laughing.

"It's just the boys trying to pull a prank on us." She says between laughs.
"Duh." Sydney says trying to sound cool.

Sydney walks up to the door and opens it. She screams and something grabs her. I run to the door and see nothing it's like she disappeared.

Unknown POV:

Got the girl and the boy. Both of them are screaming, just because I put them in a bag. I mean who screams in a bag?

"Shut up or I'll cut your heads off and hang them on my wall!!!" They both immediately shut up.
"Good, now stay quiet for the rest of the trip and you won't die, at least I don't think.."

I press the button on my belt that says "transport home" and we immediately appear in front of my "lair". Wow, that was easy.
