Ali's POV:
"Master." I say bowing.
Master Gale walks in dragging an unconscious girl. Autumn. She looks terrible, her hair is tangled, her clothes a little ripped, and she's covered in dirt. Wait, Didn't I kill her?
"Master Gale." I say.
"Yes?"
"Didn't I um kill her?"
He laughs and says "Of course not!"
"What do you mean? I pushed her into the fire."
"She's an Elemental, Ali."
"She's really one of them?"
"Yup, she's fire."
"Oh, then why did you tell me to kill her?"
"So she could find out about her powers." He says then pauses before continuing. "She was worthless without them."
"So you want to take her powers?"
"Exactly, now go unlock her cell."
"Yes master." I say doing a quick bow then run down the hallway. The hallway is cold and dark, but that's the way master Gale likes it. I reach the cell at the end off the hallway and type in the code. The door pops open. I hear heavy footsteps coming from behind me. I turn around and see Gale dragging Autumn. He throws her limp body into the cell and she lands on the stone with a thud. Gale yanks the door shut then locks it with the code.
He turns to me and says "Go get me prisoner number 77."
"Yes master." I say then walk down the hallway until I reach cell 77.Inside is the girl Gale captured last night. She had acted so tough last night, but now she was on the floor crying. There were tears all over her orange jumpsuit that Gale made all prisoners wear. If they didn't, their heads were well chopped off.. She looks up at me, her face red and blotchy. She looks....broken.
Josh's POV:
Nick has kept us in here for two days, and he won't tell us why. I really hate him right now, and I think everyone one else does too. Jade is sitting in the corner listing to music, Nick is sitting at the table planning something, Drew is trying to talk Nick into letting him out, and Sydney is sleeping on the floor. I sit down on the floor next to her.
"But what about Autumn?!?" Drew whisper shouts.
Nick looks annoyed "She's fine." He says.
"How do you know?"
"I just know, now stop worrying about her."
"What if she was captured?"
Nick looks like he's going to scream "I bet she's at her house with her parents safe and sound, now shut it I'm trying to work."Drew opens his mouth to say something but then thinks better if it and sits down next to me.
"Can you at least tell us what's going on." I ask.
Nick looks back and says "No."Jade who had one earbud in takes the other one out and marches up to him. She grabs his shirt collar and knocks his papers off the table.
"You thought you could keep us cooped up in here like a bunch of chickens?" She tightens her grip on his collar. "Well you can't."
She throws him to the floor and her eyes turn black. She places her foot on his chest, Nick looks terrified.
"Now tell us what's going on." Jade says in a demon like voice.
The papers on the floor start spinning around Jade and her hair is flying around her.
"Fine! I'll tell you!" Nick shouts.
Jade doesn't move. I had to put an end to this, so I stand up and walk over to her. I avoid the flying papers and put my hand on her shoulder. She looks back at me and the papers immediately fall to the ground. Her eyes turn back to their normal color.
"Jade go sit down and calm yourself." I say in the calmest voice I can do.
She goes back to her corner and stares at her hands. I feel sorry for her because sometimes she goes a little crazy. It's only because she holds a lot of power. I turn toward Nick who's laying on the floor panting. I hold out my hand and help him up. Once he's on his feet he sits down on the stool.
"Now, tell us what's going on." Drew says now walking to the table.
Nick sighs and says "People are going crazy, for no reason. I've been trying to research what's happening but I can't find anything."
"Why are we on lockdown then?" I ask.
"Well, I didn't want any of you guys getting hurt."
"Sure." Drew says. "Cause we can't handle humans." He says sarcastically.
"No, I'm serious these humans aren't really human. The have some sort of motive that makes them want to eat humans."
"Who's doing this?" Jade asks.
"I don't know but I think I have an idea.." Nick says trailing off.
"Who?" Jade, Drew, and I say in sync.
"Gale."Amber's POV:
I'm forced to kneel in front of Gale's throne. The floor is cold and dusty.
"You must be wondering why I brought you here, Amber." Gale says.
I look up and nod.
"Well since you back talked me and tried to use your powers on me, you will be punished."Fear rises in my chest. What's he going to do to me? I try to get up but the guard pushes me back down to my knees.
"What are you going to do to me?" I ask weakly.
He laughs evilly then says "Why would I tell you? "It's supposed to be a surprise."He moves his finger upward and suddenly I'm lifted off my feet by the guard. Gale gets off his throne and starts walking down a hallway. The guard follows him, carrying me, and then stops when Gale stops. He does something then a door pops open. Gale walks through it and so does the guard. Inside its pitch black, I can't see a thing. The guard put me down then sprints toward the door. I hear a click, he shut the door. Not knowing what to do, I stand there like a statue. I feel something brush against my side, it's sharp. Suddenly dim lights flicker on. I look around but see nothing. Then I feel something brush against my other side. I look over and see Gale holding a knife. Before I can move he stabs my side, leaving the knife in it. I scream at the top of my lungs and fall to the floor. It feels like my side is on fire.
"That'll teach you not to mess with Gale." He says walking out the door then slamming it behind him.
I lay there helpless. I grab hold of the knife and try to yank it out. It slips out a little but I yelp. It hurts too much. I start sobbing knowing that I was going to die, alone on Gales stone floor. Soon enough black dots dance before my eyes and I pass out.
