Misaki's eyes slowly opened, dread filling the girl as she realized she'd have to spend yet another day— another, long day, with the five boys.

it's not like she hated them, or felt any resentment against them— no. never. they couldn't control the fact that their names and their characteristics and the way they acted and spoke and sang and danced and rapped and—

she took another deep breath. she was overthinking again. she found so much of the girls in them— she couldn't help it. going through every day, pretending like hearing BeomGyu bicker with the members didn't lull her back to the days when Bom I would do the exact same, which would always end with Mia having to pull the leader card and shut her best friend up so they could have five minutes of a peaceful practice.

every part of their being reminded her of her girls. the girls she missed so much. but, what could she do now?

develop a relationship with them, mia. Ara's voice popped up in her head, Misaki silently groaning as she knew her unnie was right.

after another ten minutes Misaki was leaving her bedroom, stepping out into the hallway where one of the boys was passing by her. she slowly looked up, able to catch a glance of SooBin going to the kitchen. she could hear soft voices from the bigger room, knowing YeonJun was probably cooking breakfast already.

she took soft steps to leave the narrow hallway, placing her bookbag on the shared couch in the living room. she toyed with her necklace, looking up when a figure stood directly in front of her. it was SooBin.

"goodmorning, Misaki! did you sleep well?" he slowly spoke, a soft smile appearing on Mia's features. she nodded, "did you?"

"hm.. it could've been better, but i can't complain!" he smiled the smile she'd already gotten accustomed to seeing, making Misaki mirror his expression. "are you hungry? YeonJun-hyung made breakfast, if you want to join us,"

Mia's eyes trailed towards the table, where the younger three were sat. YeonJun instantly walked towards them, holding a pan with what seemed to be a type of rice. despite the time living in Korea, she still couldn't remember some of the food names.

(that may just be a side effect of the accident, though..)

she sat beside the bunny-like boy and the youngest, bowing her head as the others looked at her. "goodmorning," she softly spoke, the boys smiling at the girl.

"goodmorning Misaki," simultaneously sounded from the four, TaeHyun handing her a bowl with the fried rice. "if it's too much you can leave it," he gently informed her, slowly repeating his words when he could see a hint of confusion flashing across her features. "ah, yes," she said when she understood, "thank you for the meal," the boys found her slight stutter cute, but they would never point it out.

YeonJun couldn't help his eyes from glancing at the girl, who'd been taking super small bites, in his opinion. they'd all gotten somewhat used to her eating habits— every single one of them were cute to the boys.

but now, looking at her for what felt like the first time, and being able to see all of her features, and what some would dare to say 'imperfections', YeonJun could see just how pretty she was.

it wasn't anything weird— simply an observation. an observation that striked a brilliant idea in the boy.

he cleared his throat, "hey, Misaki?"

she looked up, eyes slightly widened as the surprise of being directly spoken to so early by a boy was still a surprise to her. "yes?" she softly asked.

"do you have a Korean name?"

Mia looked up, obviously in deep thought. she racked her brain for any possible precious mention of a name her group, or Ara, or EunBi, had given her— but there were none. "hm.. no? i don't think so?" she paused, "why?"

YeonJun put the spoon he'd been holding down, the boys all watching their interaction at this point. they were curious as to what he would come up with.

"can i come up with one for you? are you okay with that?"

she smiled, chest feeling warm at the tone of voice he was using with her. she'd noticed he changed his tone when he spoke to her — whether it was out of pity or the discomfort he still felt with her, she didn't know. all she knew was she appreciated it.

"how do you feel about.." YeonJun trailed off, the five members sitting around the table intently watching the boy think. "MiYoung."

he'd known the name for ten minutes already, he just wanted to be dramatic and build suspense.

"MiYoung..?" Mia trailed off, eyes trailing towards the table, thinking of how to write the name. YeonJun watched her with attentive eyes, wanting to know what she thought of it.

at this point, the boys all watched her, excited to see her (hopefully positive) reaction. they all liked the name, thinking it fit her relatively well.

after a moment of silence, Misaki looked up again. "i love it. thank you, Daniel," she said with a giggle.
