the cheerleaders and football players share the field when it comes to practice.

today the cheerleaders have it. avery was watching as all the girls practiced.

"alana i need you to keep a strong firm on teagan. ready 5,6,7,8. a 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8."

"alright do it again. i'll show you guys." avery said. she had done load and a tic toc ending with a twisting release and then got on the floor.

a group of guys came. "what are doing here?" avery asked. "we have the field." jordan said.

she chuckled, "no you don't."

"yes we do." jordan argued. "look we got comps soon. you literally have practice all day tomorrow."

"show me what you got then." jordan. "fine."

avery did a countdown.

they did the pyramid stunt. there were five flyers. two on each side, avery in the middle. and ended off, with avery doing as many handsprings she can do.

"impressed?" avery asked. she went back to the group with doing back handspring's this time.

"alright." jordan nodded.

layla, olivia and avery were working on a project. she got paired with them, since there were an uneven amount of students.

layla sat beside avery. olivia on the other side.

"what's up ladies?" asher asked. "hey, babe."

"what are you doing here?" avery asked. "JJ and i are also working on the english thing, so i figure 5 brains are better than 3." asher answered.

"uh make that 4 brains. shakespere's not really my thing. but, hey, food's on me." JJ said. the two boys sat down.

"you know, you don't need to annouce every time you need to drop a deuce." liv stated. "why don't i get the food and you go take care of that? uh does anyone want anything?" layla suggested.

JJ left. "no i'm good." asher said. "yeah, i'll get a drink."

"a peach and ginger iced tea with two splashes of soda water. of course i remember your go to. why would i forget?" layla said. "avery want anything?"

"i'm good." avery shook. "av you haven't ate anything all day. you barely took a bite of your food." layla showed concern.

"it's fine layla." avery shook. "ok." layla got up to go order.

"avery are you sure your fine?" liv asked. "yeah." she muttered.

"i'm gonna go to the restroom be back." liv left. "you sure your fine. you don't look well. especially with your mom staying for a few days."

"yup."

the trio was at liv's house. they continued the assignment then sat on the couch, watching a movie and ate popcorn.

avery kept trying to resolve the friendship betwern liv and layla and it was damn difficult.

the three girls sat at the park. it was layla's mom anniversary of her death. all sat in silence.
