"this isn't my fault." avery said. "i didn't say it was." ash stated.

"you should've warned me you were telling coach." ash said, "i did. i said if you don't stop i'm telling coach. you lied about not doing it again."

"you betrayed me." ash said. "you're relying on a drug ash. i told coach because this could risk your career. you could get hurt. i've seen the way steroids does to a person."

"how would you know?" he asked. she sighed. "because i've seen someone done it before."

"yeah. but you told coach av, i could've lost everything."

"but you didn't. you're still on the team."

asher sighed, "i gotta go. i've got my check up with coach." asher leaving avery left with her thoughts.

avery had talked to her mom. she's been pretty close with lucy.

she went to check on asher. "hey." avery annouced. "hey." asher put the dumbbells down and sat up.

"i'm sorry." asher blurted. "i'm done using it av, i promise. it wasn't fair and i'm sorry i didn't notice you using. i should have paid attention." avery sat down on the bench beside asher.

"i don't want you to think i can't trust you because i do. but you wouldn't listen to me at all." she added.

"no i get it. i would talk you out of it. i love you and i trust you. don't apologize for trying to help me. you've been helping me from the start." asher assured.

avery and billy were talking. "i let him have a chance because i understand where he's coming from."

"thank you so much you don't understand how much i appreciate it." billy hugged avery.

"but coach landon found steroids and asked who it was. if i didn't tell him the whole team would get suspended, and i told him it was mine. i'm not longer coach for the team."

"i'm so sorry mr baker. i know how much that meant to you and asher should appreciate what you done for him."

"i understand why he did it. because i was once that boy too. i'm happy for you two. i'm glad he's trying to do better for you. if you ever need a someone to talk to i'm here. i knew your father and i won't replace him, but i'll be there."

"thank you so much. liv and jordan is very lucky they have an amazing father like you." avery smiled.

asher wanted to meet up with avery at the cafe. "hey."

"thanks for coming." asher led her to sit down. "i know i haven't been the best person for being there for you. so i want to give you something. i know as kids you and your dad had a special bond. and i remember you were running at the park and your bracelet broke. it was the bracelet your dad gifted you." asher got it out, giving it to her.

"your mom kinda helped me with it." he added.

"you didn't have to." av said. "yes i did. besides i owe it you and i feel terrible for what i did to coach."

"i do too. i hate lying to liv, layla, jordan. only spencer knows."

lucy wanted to talk to avery. so they were at home on the couch.

"i know we kinda rushed into this whole bonding thing. i just- i wanna be there for you all the time. i will admit, i've done horrible things in the past. i was so hurt from your father's death i took the blame on you. and you didn't deserve that. i left you all alone when you were also grieving. i just want my daughter back so we can bond."

"i do too. i miss you so much."
