everyone was at the cafe. the boys playing pool and talked about football which bored layla and avery.

"can we talk about anything else but football?" avery asked. "please." layla agreed.

liv entered, layla and avery waved.

"who asked for the bill?" asher asked. "i did. give me your cards." jordan answered.

"how much i owe?" spencer asked. avery got out her card. "why are we calling it so early?" asher asked.

"don't worry about it spence, i got you." jordan assured.

"it's fine i got it. give it to me." avery said. jordan handed the bill, and put her card. "i'll get you next time." spencer said.

"yeah me too." asher said. "don't worry it's fine."

she paid for the whole bill. "eveybody's leaving? we're not going home early my dad's out of town." asher said.

"woah all weekend?" jordan questioned, asher nodded. "who- who you texting?"

"uh everyone." JJ said. "yo, am i missing something?" spencer being confused.

"hey, listen, asher's parties, they're legendary ok?" jordan clarified. "he don't sound like he wanna throw a party to me." spencer looked at asher.

"you know? i'm glad you guys are worked out, but i gotta go." avery said.

"where?" layla asked. "home, but i'll text you guys." avery kissed layla and liv's cheek.

"also liv come to the party if you want. there are drinks but i won't drink if you come. but you don't have to." avery suggested.

"i won't drink either." layla said.

the party had just started. layla and avery got lemonades, and approached olivia.

avery was wearing some shorts and a tank top with a button up over. and wearing some converse.

"you look comfy." avery implying about liv and spence.

"shut up." liv said.

avery was walking around the party. she didn't like being involved with the dare chips.

"hey pretty lady."

"um hi."

"i'm josh, what's your name?"

"avery."

"can i buy you a drink? maybe head into a room." josh suggested.

"um i'm fine." she started to walk away but he pulled on her.

"don't be like that."

"let go." avery yelled. "shut up." josh covered her mouth.

josh pulled her into a room. avery tried her best to kick and push him away. but he covered her mouth and began to touch her.

this led to discarded clothes and screaming. after he finished he shoved a pill down her throat making her faint.

avery woke up in the same room. she had marks all over herself. and realized what had happened. avery found her clothes on the floor and wore them. she quickly left the room to find someone.

"you said you weren't gonna drink. are you high?" liv asked bumping into her.

"no i'm not high. i was-"

"i'm leaving." liv scoffed. "liv!"

she sighed. avery was suprised liv didn't notice all the bruises around her.

she went to find layla. and saw the porche crashed. "woah avery are you ok?"

avery shook her head no. "let's go sit and you can tell me what happen ok?" layla assured.

they went to sit on the floor. avery started crying in layla's shoulder. "what's wrong?"

"do you want a jacket? let me grab one."

layla went to asher. "can avery borrow your jacket? something happened to her."

"she ok?" asher asked. "not sure." he took off his jacket handing it to layla.

"here." layla gave to avery. "um i was kinda pulled into a room with a guy. i tried screaming, kicking, punching. he uh you know. then he forced a drug into my mouth. liv thought i was high, and she's upset at me."

avery was home. and she was so upset with herself. letting herself be in that position. she threw a vase at the wall.

"ugh!" avery yelled. she sat down and breathe heavily.

she heard a knock on the door. she sighed and opened it.

"asher? what are you doing here? come in."

he walked and sat on the couch. "i need to tell you something."

"ok."

"i'm broke. that's why my dad and i meet with you about it. ever since my mom left."

"i already know." avery said. "you do? why didn't you tell anyone?"

"it's not my place to say. i found out from my moms office sending montly payments. i don't know what's the agreement though."

"oh." asher nodded. "i won't tell anyone, asher. i'm not that mean."
