layla got released from rehab and they're at the cafe along with liv, spencer, asher and avery.

"sorry i couldn't see you. i was busy." avery apologized. "yeah too busy fucking asher." spencer mumbled.

"shut up, and you don't know that." avery said. "yeah he stayed at your house, new clothes, pda with each other and ash is very happy like seriously." liv listed.

"ok whatever." avery rolled her eyes. "catch me up of what's been going on." layla said.

"JJ is president." liv started. "0h. stop. no. that's enough." layla shook her head.

"avery's knee has been healing a lot, getting better." liv mentioned. "are you ever gonna go back to cheer?" layla asked.

"uh probably not."

avery was attending liv's dance. she was there and has been calling asher. he was suppose to be there with her but wasn't.

"you not going in?" jordan asked. "asher isn't picking up and we're suppose to go in together."

"it's fine, c'mon." jordan put his arm to avery to put around.

after the dance ended she went to go leave but asher was here. "where were you? you were suppose to be my date."

"i was caught up with football."

"doesn't mean you don't have to come. it's a small thing, only a few hours."

"i have football. without it my career is over." asher argued. "you don't think i know that!"

billy went to go to asher. "it's time for you to leave."

emergencies happen. and spencer was in the e.r. which everyone was there for him. avery was noticing asher's behavior was super odd.

when spencer got shot they resolved their problems.

she went into the boys locker room. "asher? ash?" avery called. she went to his locker tripping over his bag. a few items spilled out.

avery picked up his clothes but something dropped in between. she looked at the small bottle of steroid. "oh my god." she whispered. she put the rest of the stuff back in his bag and left.

avery opened the door, and it was asher. "hey."

"i told jordan and JJ to take me home but i'm here." asher said entering. "i told them too."

they walked to the kitchen. avery grabbed a water for asher. "you know we're honest with each other right?" avery asked. asher nodded drinking some water. "are you ok?"

"it's just a lot of pressure with football lately. it made me do things i shouldn't be doing."

"you need to be careful i don't want anything bad to happen. but i need to talk to you about something." avery approached.

"why are you taking steroids to be better?" avery asked. "how did-"

"i went to look for you and i saw it. you know you'll be getting scholarships. but doing this could risk your football career by doing steroids asher."

"god stop being worried. spencer brought it up already. i don't need you telling me what to do avery."

"you need to stop asher. this will risk your career for football and you could physically get hurt. if you think you can't do football without it, it could be an addiction. if you don't stop, i will tell coach."

"ok, i'm done. i promise." asher assured. "just like that?"

"i can't afford to lose you."

"hey liv i need your opinion." liv nodded. "would you keep a secret even though it's bad."

"trust yourself. do what's right."

avery went to go meet up with asher after the game. but got stopped by spencer. "avery. it's about asher."

"what?" avery questioned. "you told me he stopped doing steroids. but i'm positive he's doing it."

avery talked to spencer about asher using steroids.

"thanks spence. i need to talk to him."

avery went to look around to find asher and saw him talking to someone. once they finished she went to him. "hey you did great."

"thanks." and avery kissed him. asher started to get a bit dizzy. "you ok?" she asked. asher nodded.

avery went to the bakers.

"uh liv isn't here." jordan said. "i need to talk to your dad." he led her where billy is.

"avery hi."

"hi i need to talk to you about something serious."

"of course what is it?" billy asked. "asher is gonna hate me, but i think he's doing steroids. i tried to get him to stop and i don't want to risk his football career, but i care about him."

"no, no. you did the right thing. i will deal with it."

"he's been pushing himself. asher is really stressed wanting to get a scholarship. just- let me know how it goes."

"sure will. thank you avery."
