Peter sat with his head in his hands, extremely frustrated. "For the last time, my name is Peter. I am a boy," He says, looking up at the teacher. "It's not hard to use the right name, or the right pronouns." And yet, throughout the rest of class, the teacher continuously called him Penny, and used she/her.
It got to the point where she was deliberately calling on him to do so, as if she was trying to make some kind of a point. It got so bad that Peter almost just let her. But he continued to try, as politely as he could manage, to explain that he wasn't a girl. Even Flash was getting annoyed by it. He may not like Parker, but if that was the name and pronouns he preferred he'd fucking use them. That's just basic human decency.
And by the time class was over, Peter just wanted to leave. He grabbed his things, ready to go call Aunt May or, if she was at work, maybe Mr.Stark to come pick him up. He couldn't deal with this today, but the teacher had the audacity to keep him late for all the "disruptions" he'd caused.
