Ship: Any loser x Stan or platonic losers and Stan

Trigger warnings: Internal transphobia, dysphoria, insecurity, transphobia, bullying/ hate crimes, possibly implied SA (its not really but it could be)

Au: Trans and autistic Stan

His body didn't match his mind. His friends knew that, and they didn't care. They didn't care that it wasn't something you saw every day, they didn't care that they'd never been taught about it.  All they cared about was that Stan was happy.

Because no matter what body parts he had, he was still Stan. He still fidgeted with his fingers and bounced on the heels of his feet. He still didn't understand when other people were being sarcastic, but still managed to be the most sarcastic of the losers.  He still rambled about birds, and bickered with Richie, and drove them all crazy in the best way possible.

He was still Stan.

He was still Stan even when he himself struggled to find himself. When his hair felt way too long, his chest much too noticeable.

He was still Stan even when he'd convinced himself he was still Stella, even though he knew he wasn't.  Still Stan when he told himself that he was faking it for attention, and yet still flinched when a teacher called him the wrong name.

And he was still Stan when Bowers and his gang called him awful names. When they wrote hateful messages on the bathroom stalls, and scared him away from using the men's bathrooms to begin with. When they pulled his hair and yelled his deadname into his ear.

He was still Stan, and the losers would be there for him until the end of time.
