This is my solution to not being good at U! Patton but wanting U! Patton.
Ship: None that involve Remus, preferably none involving Patton, but any other ship is fine
Trigger warnings: child abuse (physical and mental), intrusive thoughts, neglect, being locked in small spaces for long periods of time
Au: in which Remus is about 7 or 8 years old, and Thomas only got intrusive thoughts after he appeared (which is why hes only a kid). Everyone else is an adult, Patton is an abusive father figure.
Ever since Remus could remember, he'd scared people. So much so that he never talked to his older brother and his friends. The only one he really ever saw was his dad, and he was only ever mean to him.
He didn't know what he did wrong. But it seemed that every time he tried to say anything, Papa would get mad. Yell at him, hit him, tell him hes no good.
What was the point? Remus didnt like Patton. All he wanted to do was have someone to play with, to talk to, but he wasn't allowed out of the little place in the mind palace Patton had made just for him. It was barren and dark, and scary. And sometimes he was even forced to stay in a small closet, screaming and crying and telling Patton that hed be good. It was no use, never any use.
He was alone.
One day, however, he escapes, meeting the others. What happens?
