Orange side-

Logan needs help-

Thats all-

Ship: Platonic DRLAMP, any romantic ship that includes Logan (if romantic ship is preferred)

Trigger warnings: Depression, insomnia, suicidal ideation (It's referred to as ducking out, but in reality its more of a suicidal thought), panic attack, angry outbursts (not in the prompt, but its bound to happen) numbness, overworking, self hate  struggling to take care of oneself,  can you tell I dont know how to do tws?

Au: Orange exists as a sort of spirit that lurks around the mind palace, fogging up Thomas' mind. He represents Depression, which is where that idea comes from- it makes sense to me that depression should affect Logan the most-

Logan wasn't sure what was going on. He'd been in such a rut, and he didn't know how to get out of it. Everything he did felt like a mistake. He couldn't even bring himself to want to be around the others anymore. It was often overwhelming.

It was like there was something that followed him, wherever he went. It clouded his judgement, made him feel things he couldn't quite place. He hated it.

He had no motivation, no drive. And that was before Orange started to tug more firmly on Logan's emotions, the same ones that he'd tried so desperately to pretend he didn't have. Though, as time went on, he genuinely struggled to feel much of anything. It scared him.

He couldn't get out of bed. He couldn't even fall asleep. He could feel Orange's presence,  the cold, dead feeling left behind when he was near.  He could hear Orange's voice, telling him things he new were untrue. Yet he couldn't place it.  Had no way of knowing that this wasn't him, wasn't his own mind creating these horrible thoughts.

The doubt began to sink in. Did the others need him?

He'd told them himself, as Thomas's logic, even if he left, his trait was still present. Thomas would still have reason, curiosity. He would still be logical.

What if he'd ducked out? What would that be like? Would he go to the subconscious? Would he even know? Would his door disappear, would he? Would the others care, or would they even notice?

That.. that was a horrifying thought. What if he were to duck out and none of the others even noticed he was gone? What if they did, and they didn't care? They wouldn't care,  Orange would probably whisper smugly. Logan realized with a start that his lungs weren't filling with air the way they should. He realized his head was pounding, and he couldn't get a grip on reality.
