Chapter 1 - The Beginning of a Drunken Apocalypse

"I see," Ethan Clarke said, looking down, "I suppose there is no negotiating?"

"Indeed, there is none. Today, you die."

Ethan swore under his breath. If reinforcements didn't arrive soon, this might really be the end for him.

"Any last words?" Neon asked.

"None for you," Ethan scoffed.

"Well then," Neon frowned, her eyes barely visible from under her bangs. "Goodbye, I guess."

Before we proceed with the story, dear reader, you must be wondering what drugs I am on to ruin your perfectly fine day with a dialogue between these two dumbasses. You see, Neon currently has Ethan chained up and on his knees in front of her. Neon has a knife in her hand - and she is more than ready to use it on Ethan.

I presume you're a tad confused. Why is Neon planning on killing Ethan? How did she even get a hold of Ethan? What reinforcements is Ethan waiting for?

Don't worry, you will get all your answers soon. But, first, we need to take a small step back.

Okay, if I'm being honest, we need to take a pretty dang big step back.

Well then, let's go back all the way to where this story started and introduce you to the main characters.

It all began after an unknown person arrived in town. The "Ukrainian Dude," they called him.

For many years, the world had been under the rule of King Virgil the 69th.

How did Virgin (as he often referred to when being respectful) become the ruler of the whole world? Well, it stems from World War 4.20.

Contrary to popular belief, World War 3 never actually happened. Instead, some scientist nicknamed Eric Jarvis came up with a "magical compound that cures all worries."

Jarvis had discovered weed.

The next 20 years were wonderful. Everyone lived happily. There were celebrations every year honoring Jarvis. Then, one day, the most horrible thing happened.

The world ran out of weed.

Well, specifically, everyone but the USSR (The Soviet Union had reunified under Grand Leader Commander King President Putin) had run out of weed. Russia still had it.

And so, the rest of the world attacked Russia.

This became known as World War 4.20.

All was going well for no one when things took a turn for the worse. The United States President Camilla Harris decided to nuke Japan, which was the biggest mistake ever. Japan was destroyed, and so were their anime-making studios. This caused a massive revolution all across the globe, and before anyone knew it, the world was destroyed.

That was when, from the ashes, rose Oliver. A young lad and unfit to lead, he pulled his older brother and femboy sister, James and Bonnie Virgil, out of the rubble.

James took his chance and took control over the destroyed world.

Fast forward five years later.

King James Virgil is ruling the world and is currently married to Queen Bonnie.

However, all was not well in their kingdom. The truth was, rumors were going around that it was possible Russians might still be alive. Russians were dangerous, and if they were to unite against the Virgils, they would overthrow the kingdom.

Which is why everyone was extremely surprised when another young man named Daniel marched into the kingdom one day. Dubbed the "Ukrainian Dude," Daniel was different from everyone else. He was what they called a "chad" in the old days.

Some Virgilians (Citizens of the Virgil Empire were often referred to as Virgilians, or VS for short) approached Ukrainian Dude and asked him the dreaded question:

"Are you Russian?"

Initially, Daniel was taken back by the question. He knew that the world was still slightly mad that Russia started World War 4.20 and led to the end of basically everything, so as stated earlier, Russians were feared and hated.

Nevertheless, Daniel was extremely bright and had come prepared with a response.

"No, I am Ukrainian. Ukraine was never part of the Soviet Union and therefore I am not Russian."

Everyone was impressed by his wisdom and geographical understanding, and let him pass.

Okay, okay, let me stop the story here. As much as I want to continue it, I think I should introduce some of the main characters first.

First, we have James. The older brother of Bonnie and Oliver, he is the emperor.

Pros: Married to Bonnie, and is the literal king of the world.

Cons: He has been diagnosed with erectile dysfunction.

Next, Bonnie. Also known as Queen Bonnie, Bonnie is the sister and wife of James.

Pros: Fluffy tale, wholesome, also is orange like Trump.

Cons: "Her hair is freaking everywhere" - Oliver.

About Oliver, Oliver is the youngest sibling in the Virgil family. Oliver isn't seen a lot these days, although there are occasional reports of a child running around with waifu body pillows.

Pros: Finds the best hen- anime. Is young and energetic, can't be caught easily.

Cons: We don't know much about him because he's always running away.

Of course, since everyone is wondering about who Ethan and Neon are, I think I'll get to Ethan next and leave Neon for a later chapter.

Ethan, also known as Ethan Clarke, is one of the main protagonists of the story. Truly a kind soul, we will find more about him later. At the moment, he is currently on a top secret mission to find out more information on recent anomalies in Japan.

Pros: Smart, also a good person.

Cons: Stupid, also doesn't understand sarcasm or any humor at all.

Next up is Daniel, or Ukrainian Dude. We don't know much about this young lad yet, and will update his personality when we find out more about him.

Pros: Likes feet (a lot)

Cons: Likes feet (a lot)

Let's take a step back to the pre-Virgil Era. Specifically, let's zoom in on Eric Jarvis.

Jarvis is the person who discovered weed in his basement one day and made billions from it. It also resulted, as we know, in a world war. As soon as he became the most wanted (non-Russian) criminal, he fled and has been missing ever since. We don't know where he is.

Pros: Discovers weed.

Cons: Is known to be insane.

Okay, back to the present Virgil Era. I know we haven't introduced many characters yet, but if I make this chapter too long we all know you're not gonna bother reading it.

There is, however, one final character I would like to introduce.

Myself.

My name is Leon and I am the narrator. I will be telling you this 100% true story. I probably won't show up in the story in the near future, but don't worry, even without my awesomeness the story will be great.

Pros: Actually explains what the hell is happening.

Cons: Has a secret that will make its way out soon. Also another con is that no one knows me because I'm hidden in a cave somewhere far away from society.
