If you can make me cry on my birthday, I will make a fanfic of you and your MC crush. I swear]Tristam padded slowly across the grass to the graveyard, shoving his hands in his pockets. He stops at a gravestone and sighs. "Happy birthday, babe." He murmurs as he places a hibiscus flower on the grave. His thoughts drift to the night he lost her...
"No. N-n-n-n-n-no! Rebel! Rebel wake up!!" He shouted, furiously shaking her. Her eyes fluttered open. "I love you Tristam.. I-I always will." "Rebel stop. You're gonna make it!" Her eyes closed. "No. Please no. Y-You-" he chokes on a sob. The blood cascaded from the cuts on her wrists. "YOU CAN'T LEAVE ME ALONE IN THIS WORLD! REBEL!" He screamed. "PLEASE!" Sobs racked his body as he cradled his love. He buried his head in the crook of her shoulder and sobbed. "YOU CAN'T DO THIS! I LOVE YOU!"
He drew in a shaky breath, suddenly angry. "Why.." He breathed. "WHY THE HELL DID YOU DO THAT TO YOURSELF!?!" He fell to his knees, unable to take it anymore. "Why?!" He sobbed. He knew if he didn't stop himself he'd have a panic attack. No one would be there to hold him. But he didn't care. After all, there was nothing left to live for. Most likely, he'd end it all when he got home. Either that or cut. "Please c-c-come back!" He sobbed, beginning to hyperventilate. "I never left, baby." A soft voice murmured. Tristam jerked his head around and gasped at what he saw. "R-Rebel?" The figure nodded. Tristam ran toward her and wrapped her in a hug. "Why did you do it?!" He sobbed. "I don't know, honey.. I can't remember any of it." Tristam's breath gets faster. "Calm down.. sh.. it's ok." Rebel murmurs. "It's not! It won't ever be! You're gone and this is all a sick dream!" He screamed into her shoulder. Rebel lifted his chin and kissed him. Electricity shot through Tristam, but it was calming. "I'm not a dream, Tristam. I've always been there, since the day I've left." "Then, how come I've never noticed?!" He challenged with a sob. "You've never sought out to find me. You only talk to me here. Angles need a happy environment to thrive and be seen." She looked almost hurt behind all the stars in her eyes. Tristam realized what he'd been doing wrong. "I'm sorry." He murmured. "The love of my life once told me, 'We can all choose how we see the world.' Look at it this way: you may not be able to see me, but I am there. Forever." Tristam sniffed as she began to walk away. "I love you." She smiled as she ascended into the heavens. For the first time since Rebel passed, Tristam smiled. "I love you too."
